The food was homemade with love and deliciousness! The staff were friendly and made the suggestion to try the strawberry cornbread. Amazing!

We tried their classic Mac Bowl which was mac & cheese and their bite-size fried chicken. My favorite sauce with it was the barbecue! Sweet and tangy. The cornbread was fresh crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. I got one of the original and one strawberry cornbread. Both were delicious, but the strawberry is divine (tastes like funnel cake) we also had their homemade Sweet Tea and Lemonade -chefs kiss

I was greeted with a wonderful lady at the register who helped me pick my choice of food and was super friendly. Got the corn bread, amazing 10/10 . Got the strawberry cornbread, superb 10/10. Lastly I had the Mac and stack bowl, they filled it passed the brim of the bowl, large amounts of Mac and cheese, chicken and fries. The perfect amount of crispy and the right amount of flavor 10/10. Definitely a place to check out!

Who is craving that real taste of soul food in Bakersfield? If so you’re in luck. This place is just what you are looking for. We can start with the food 15/10!!! AMAZING quality! Unbeatable flavor! How can it be the perfect amount of spice, salty, and sweet THEY GOT IT DOWN. I’m licking my bowl clean. The cornbread was the best I have ever had in my LIFE same goes for the collard greens. Not sure what they do with the seasonings but JOB WELL DONE!! The service was the cherry on top, everyone had warm smiles and inviting attitudes. It was fast, yummy and intentional.

Let’s start off by saying the customer service was A+ Hands-down, best soul, comfort food I’ve ever had The watermelon hot sauce was amazing. The chicken was crispy and tender.
