Belky Meat Market #1 is a fantastic little spot tucked into a small strip mall. They have a small but fresh selection of produce and an impressive variety of meats, including perfectly marinated cuts ready for grilling. The store is packed with authentic Mexican goods—everything from candies, cookies, dried chiles, over-the-counter medicines, to a huge selection of both flour and corn tortillas. They even carry mesquite for grilling and so much more. It really feels like they have a bit of everything. The butchers are very friendly and always willing to help, and the cashiers are just as pleasant. A great local market with a lot to offer!

Great store to go to locally. They have medicine, piñata’s, fresh meat, corn tortillas, drinks, and etc.. Customer service is great!

The marinated carne asada is delicious flavor one of the best I’ve ever tried. We get it here if we do want any! However when I bought two bags of concha my daughter and I bit into the bread and both spit it right back out. The bread taste like chemicals and I wouldn’t recommend buying unless they change this style of sale. I called at that moment and I spoke with Catalina that told me that it was ok and I could go back for replacement or refund and I didn’t need too take her back the bread. I mean after Covid who wants the bread ? Anyways, I went back a few weeks later and brought it up and she basically gave me one option which was taking the replacement concha so I did. She said that I could get a refund if the bread still wasn’t good.. we bit into the bread and the bread still taste like horrible chemicals! It’s in a plastic bag . Either way after not being accommodated the way I wanted the first time who wants to go through that again? Unfortunate
The meat is the reason for my rating, their unreasonable accommodation is another 🫤

Belky’s has the best marinated meats around. We’ve tried several different meats from them pastor, chicken, asada and all have been a hit for our gatherings. If you like chorizo, the chorizo seco is super delicious also!

I have been buying and ordering beef briskets from here for almost a year at a great price. Today is the 2nd time I called and the Spanish guy that answered the phone said they dont have brisket and they can't order it then hung up. Grrr. I called back for almost an hour the phone is just busy. Look I normally order 4 full briskets a month and this is how I get treated. So it shows how they dont even care about local regulars. Or they can't remember the only white guy that comes in.

wanted chicken hearts said they only had insides packaged together was the guts which included 75% frozen/spoiled liver 10% necks, and 5% hearts. was free and told me i could come back and get more because they throw this away. I come back, and another butcher insists that i pay 1$ lb for something mostly i don't want, and they are going to throw away. Why would i pay $1 a lb for trash i don't want, when i can go down the street to ralphs and get 100% hearts for 1$ a lb.

I’ve come to this meat market a few times now, the prepared meat is good… I’ve had better. The people working there are sketchy and pay in cash I just wouldn’t pay with a card here again.
