I have been going to beef barn every year with my deer for about 5 years. I have never had a bad experience until this year. I took a deer there and when I finally got to eating it, the meat was not edible. We tried multiple different packages of the burger thinking maybe we just got a bad couple pounds and it was all the same. We kept getting a nasty waxy film all over our mouths which tells me they did not take the time to properly trim their meat. Another instance of you get what you pay for and wish I hadn’t wasted $100 on meat that ended up getting thrown away. Very disappointing and will be taking my meat elsewhere from here on out.

I have lived in Jackson for most of my life, and this is my first visit to the Beef Barn—but it certainly won't be my last. I went there for lunch, and the staff was very friendly, while the food was amazing; it was the best chicken noodle soup I've ever had. This is an easy five-star review!

Exceptional service and people.the sandwiches are enough to fill up 2 people. From
What I understand their deer processing is quick and well done.
If you like bratwursts they have a bunch of different flavors. I highly suggest stopping by

This place is really going downhill fast, I taken all my deer to be processed here since I moved here in 2009 and just found out today that they no longer are part of the hunter against hunger program. I like this business and I like the products that they sell but if they're not going to put forth the effort to help the community that is struggling then I have to cut my business by 95% with this place. You might get one deer out me maybe.

I would give them zero stars if I could they sold us ribeyes and there wasn't any ribeye.It was like roast and so tough I would never shop at the beef burner again

The folks there are super friendly and very helpful. They have excellent meats, lots of choices, and the best beef jerky .I kid you not; try the cherry Maple. Soooo good. I have never been disappointed with any thing smoked chops, the Tri-tip cooks up tender and delicious. The cost is like most any where else but quality is top notch.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is clean. I bring my venison in to have it ground, and they are quick to get it done. It's hard to leave without buying some of their specialty bratwurst, too.

From great meats to AMAZING sandwiches this place is a 5 star all day. The staff is friendly and courteous. It is a Jackson staple and has been for many years. There is a reason they have been around so long! My advice is to at least stop in and get a sandwich for lunch sometime, you will NOT be disappointed!
