Best cafe near crater lake scenic drive. The place is busy during weekends and holidays. The service was excellent. We ordered clam chowder and fish n chips. Foods were served fresh and tasty. We also tried the delicious pecan pie.

Don't go there if you have darker skin. I had heard that a lot of places in Oregon discriminate against people of color, but this place was horrible. When I came in, there were four other patrons who had just finished their meals and were leaving. I placed my order for an elk burger and a beer. It took them almost 40 minutes to bring the burger and salad. Everyone else around me who ordered after I had placed my order received their food first. I guess I was a lower priority person based on my skin color. I kept seeing the waitress bring everyone's food while carefully avoiding looking my way. After the 38-minute mark, they brought the burger, which was overcooked. I quickly paid for it and left the food untouched. I'm sure there was a "special sauce" on it that I didn't want to eat. If you are not caucasian, don't go there. You will not be treated well.

Unique crust and flavours for the chicken out pie. Loved that! The fresh pretzels and sauce was great also. Pies and burgers were good like you’d expect at a dinner. Nice place for breakfast/brunch but we were there on our way out of the park for dinner at 5pm and it was great atmosphere and service to end off the day. Seems to open latter than 6pm during the summers. Right across from union creek campground.

All about the pie baby! We stopped here at the end of a 400 mile motorcycle ride and the pie was a welcome treat. Service was great!

Small place in the middle of nowhere that was really good. They were busy but everybody was hustling and working hard. Food was excellent and well worth the wait.

Perfect stop for lunch on the drive to crater lake; not too much seating available we only had to wait about 10 minutes luckily; I was so happy they had a vegetarian option. The salad and dressing was SO good!! Really enjoyed the stop in.

Nice stop along a scenic highway. Apparently this place has been around since 1926. We ordered dinner at about 6pm but the famous chicken pot pie was sold out so we couldn’t get that. I got the spicy jalapeño burger which was good and spicy but the meat was not hot. Barely even lukewarm. The side salad was large and good though. My wife got the buffalo chicken salad and thought the salad was smaller than my side salad. We got the boisonberry pie to go. I never tried that type of berry before. The pie was only ok. I would give this place another try, hopefully they have the pot pie next time.

Took a day trip to the area, stopped in for lunch. Great burger, pie was good but not "exceptional". Nice ambience, met some nice people.
