Very fresh produce and a wide variety. There is also a vendor that sells homemade soups and is very popular with the locals. A line forms at her area before the market opens and she sells out quickly. The bread vendor Sasquatch Sourdough has fantastic breads, especially the jalapeno sourdough. The fruit vendors sell great fruits with bold flavors, not like stores where flavors can be bland. Strawberries, grapes, peaches, etc., are all excellent. The lettuces are bright green and red leaf colors and fresh. Every year while staying in Morro Bay for a month in August we look forward to this farmers market. It is a "must" stop for locals and visitors. Well worth the drive from Morro Bay. While here, stop for a bite to eat at one of the cool restaurants close by and make it an eventful day.

Most of the farmers markets in Slo
County have the same vendors so if you’ve been to one you’ll recognize the vendors here. There is usually parking nearby and the vendors recognize their regulars.

Great quality of items; however, very disappointed with the honesty of one of the vendors. Be watchful when purchasing from Sasquatch Sourdough! This lady took my money, quickly handed me the bread and allowed me to step away without giving me my change. When I realized I did not have the change in my hand and I turned around to confront her, and she dared to say it may have flown away with the wind. She is lucky I'm not one to be argumentative because vengeance is not mine. She shall reap what she soweth.

This time of year doesn't have the best produce, but the vendors are still showing up with what they've got. I try to make it every week. Farmer's Market is an important facet of my life.

Every Monday at 2, a good farmers market sets up to sell good local fruits and vegetables. The one narrow street gets crowded and parking can be a challenge. There's a couple of fish mongers, along with bakery items. Local cheese, eggs and other goodies. Wait in line at the homemade soup stall, and consider yourself lucky, if there's any left.

I love my local farmers market: the vendors are highly knowledgeable about their produce, kind and courteous. There's a great variety of high quality fruits & vegetables, not to mention honey, breads, desserts & seafood.
