Stopped in on a Friday night, parking lot was packed and thought it may be a minute before we would be able to get a table but we put our name in, grabbed a beer at the bar and were called in about 10 minutes to be seated. Our server, Abby, was courteous and prompt with her service. She checked in multiple times to see how things were going or if we needed another beer. Great selection of food on the menu, my favorites would be the different egg rolls varieties. Hard to choose between crab Rangoon, southwest and Philly cheesesteak. Although the place was packed, the service was still surprisingly very good.
My only gripe would be the bathroom and parking. The former is quite small and would likely leave me squeezing cheeks until I got home if the choice presented. Parking lot is dirt.

Server was top notch he was vary aware of his area and on top of rounding the tables and there needs.. We got a seafood nocho special.. Omg was wonderful. My spouse got fried fish special yummy it was wonderful as well.. Drinks where cheap and strong lol can't complain.. The cups and stuff on the wall had us laughing lol great experience! Also right across the street is a nice place to relaxe near the water parking might get limited but the view of the water from the booth we had was great.. Loved it will be back 4 sure..

We ate here over the holiday weekend. Very busy. They will take your name and number to text when your table is ready. We stood for about an hour to be seated. Was told 45 minutes to 1 hour wait. Other people coming in were told anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours, depending on the party size. There is no room to stand. Just the hallway, but that was where the employees come in and out of part of the kitchen where the sliding barn door is. Unfortunately, I have a hard time sitting at a high top table, but that is where we were seated. Took a long time for the waitress to acknowledge us. Got our drinks, order an Appitizer. Then, we placed our order and never got the appetizer before the dinners came. Waitress completely forgot it. She never came and asked us how we were doing or to check on us. Very disappointing. Fish dinner, cod, was delicious! Large portions. Tartar sauce was good too. I loved the fries. They were big, like steak frys but thinner with seasoning on them. Did not like the coleslaw. No flavor or more on the sour side. As the fried cod pieces sit on the thin paper on your little tray, the paper gets soggy and will start to tear, and you may accidentally eat some. Yes, we will be back.

We came over on the boat and were greeted immediately with a friendly team, fast and delicious food with awesome portions! Marah is the best server ever!! So was attentive, enjoyable to be around and so efficient! We have been here 20+ times but this experience prompted me to share the love! Well done Back Door!!!

Hard to give a review about a lake front bar without sounding redundant. It's great scenery, awesome food, cold beer, and good service. Will definitely go back!

This place is really good. We came from out of town and someone suggested this place to us so we gave it a shot and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a Bahama Mama to drink and it was really tasty. We must have had a different bartender than the other reviewers or they had good training since then lol.
We also ordered the fried pickles (good)
Santa Fe Chicken Egg Roll (Yummy)
Bang Bang Shrimp (amazing and my favorite)
Fish Tacos (bland, soggy batter, and nothing exciting except the sauce).
Service was great and when we arrived it was a "seat yourself" atmosphere so we sat right next to the window and got a view of the lake. If we come back to this area, we will definitely stop in again.

I had the house breaded fish sticks and they were nothing but soggy, greasy dough. I told the waitress and showed her how greasy and mushy they were but nothing was done about it. They did us a favor as we will never frequent them again. ** To respond to your questions: We were there Monday, July 22 before 5:00. Our server was a young blonde with French braids.
