Arvin Brewing is an absolute treasure for beer enthusiasts in Grand Rapids. From the moment you step in, you’ll notice the impeccable service—friendly and knowledgeable servers who never miss a beat and ensure your glass is always perfectly filled. They truly elevate the experience and make every visit feel special.

Now, let’s talk beer. Arvin Brewing delivers an extraordinary lineup, with something for every palate. The kettle sours are vibrant and packed with flavor, a real treat for sour fans. If you’re lucky enough to visit when they’re offering their bourbon barrel-aged beers, don’t hesitate—these are complex, rich, and worth every sip. But the true standouts are the New England IPAs, which are nothing short of perfection. These hazy delights are bursting with juicy, tropical notes and have a soft, pillowy finish that keeps you coming back for more.

In the summer, the experience is taken up a notch with their food truck and outdoor bench seating. Enjoying a cold beer in the sun while savoring some delicious bites is about as good as it gets. While the outdoor space is fantastic, the indoor seating is less inviting. The interior could use some love, but the view of the brewing tanks offers a nice glimpse into the artistry behind the beer.

Arvon’s is a great place bring your own food and snacks and games and hang out all day drinking delicious beer. They have a few snacks for sale and occasionally a food truck outside. There is also a Domino’s across the street for emergency foods need. They have a great selection of beers and you can even get half pours so you could try them all! Their kettle sour beers are fantastic and almost taste like fruit smoothies, they are an absolutely must have.

Arvon Brewing is a true gem. The space is an old Oldsmobile Dealership which is cool if you’re into Michigan Nostalgia. Lots of natural light and open seating. Clean bathrooms. Now for the beer: it is the best available in the Beer City. Primarily hoppy IPAs and Kettle Sours, but with some stouts and other styles too. If you appreciate craft beer, you will really appreciate Arvon. Bring your own food, board games, or books and come check it out!

Awesome little brewery with excellent hazy ipas and sours. My go to is a hazy ipa and my wife’s go to is a sour so this is as close to perfection as it gets for us. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is excellent. A must stop for any craft beer enthusiast.

Producing some of the very best craft beers in the Midwest. Go for the beer, note the atmosphere is sparse and food is not served.
Blue Wing, Creative Flow (Dbl rye NE style IPA) and Dark Rage (stout). And, snowdrift hazy IPA -
