Honestly, I had very high expectations for this place. I tried a cinnamon roll and a chocolate croissant; I also took a sourdough bread. I got really disappointed. The cinnamon roll was even hard, it seemed like it had been there for several days. The chocolate croissant was good, and the sourdough bread wasn’t have a good texture. Honestly, given the bread prices, I was expecting a lot more, but I didn’t like it

I stopped by this morning on my way back from the gym and bought a Bear Claw and an Everything Bagel. The Bear Claw was light and crispy, soooo good! The Bagel was well seasoned with a nice texture, not too dense.
I'm usually there later in the day getting bread or rolls and don't buy breakfast items. These were so good I may need to make this a regular thing.

So many goodies in such a cute space! I love Art of Bread. I stopped there during the Grand Opening to get some last minute items for Christmas and had such a pleasant experience. I Absolutely love their French Roast Coffee (and so did the rest of my office!) and the Asiago bread was a wonderful addition to our meal.

If you're looking for a quality bakery that features authentic Italian breads, cookies and sandwiches (in addition to a number of other options) look no further!

Kroger or Walmart quality with higher prices. I've come here a few times hoping its improved. The bread is decent but for the price, I'd rather go elsewhere. Most of the bread is either dried out and hard from sitting out or in a bag and is like styrofoam. I've found much better bread from many of the small local bakeries.

First time visiting here today and I will be back once a week for a loaf of sourdough.(I live about 40 minutes from here)
The women working early this morning, was the nicest person I have ever met and beyond helpful.
Everything is freshly made and looked beautiful and delicious.
I bought three sourdough loafs and four fresh pretzels, and they were INCREDIBLE!!!!.

I used to go to the Art of Bread years ago and then had no need anymore since I went away from too many carbs. Today I needed a fresh baguette for an event. I went there a little after opening time at 9:00. The bread was still warm, they had lots of turnovers and croissants. I got a spinach turnover and it was very good. Nothing was wrapped in plastic, as a previous poster mentioned (and bread should never be wrapped in anything other than paper anyway). I think bakeries should have fresh goods for breakfast, and they delivered on that. They seem to have paid attention to the feedback here. Competition is Busch's, Plum Market, Whole Foods, but those are larger stores.

This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL establishment I’ve ever encountered. Placed a special bread order for the day after thanksgiving giving...was told they are closed AFTER being told they would be open. Fine whatever placed the order to be picked up today (the day before thanksgiving) only got my order to have been sold because I had to work and couldn’t get there before 6pm which I was told was perfectly fine they would just bring my order to the main store and I could pick it up at the bakery. This was obviously not the case. How the closing employee made it sound that she was told to sticker and sell the bread. The communication in this establishment leaves a lot to be desired. Along with their business practices. I will never do business at this place or the other stores attached to it.

The spinach and feta turnovers are amazing, but are difficult to get as they sell out quickly. We stopped in a few days ago and were unable to get them again. I asked if we could place an order and was told yes. The young lady at the register took our order and we just stopped in to pick them up. The same young Lady was there and recognized us. She went to the baker/manager who told her that he had not baked enough for our order. So placing an order was pointless. I asked to speak to said manager who attempted to blame all the 'new staff members' he is training. I have worked in bakery food service for over 30 years and the first step to every day after turning on your ovens is checking your orders. Any idiot should know that. This weak excuse and the offer of other items that we did not specifically order were ridiculous. We made a special trip on a crappy weather day because we had placed this order and it was a waste of our time. Insincere apologies don't cut it in my book. We will not be giving this establishment another chance. What a disappointment.
