I see others are experiencing what my husband and I did with our last order last year. We had a great first half cow experience with them. But the second, we were given someone else’s cut orders for our half of cow and were significantly shortened our meat amount. It was distressing and upsetting considering what we spent. We have since moved on to another supplier. Not sure why they have turned so negatively in their operations. I definitely feel like we ended up scammed.

3 years ago we ordered 1/2 beef and a pig. Meat and service was great. Last year ordered 1/2 beef again. Meat was substandard to say the least. But we didn't complain and ate it with a lot of seasoning. We ordered again in September. Told them about the last beef and were supposed to be compensated. Never happened!!!
Took almost a month to get our meat and were shorted 70 pounds!! Contacted Angus and waited another month and they only brought 26 pounds this time. Promised to bring the rest the following week. No call and no delivery. I called multiple times and was promised delivery but ...no show. Finally after another month they brought the rest of my order.
No apologies for screwing up our order . Never said Sorry. Acted like it was an inconvenience.
Needless to say we'll be looking for beef elsewhere next time.

Update: I finally received the beef on 10/14. I ordered 1/4 beef and got 114lbs of meat which is what they say you get. The taste and texture are great, better than the store bought meat. The only downside in my experience was the waiting time (2.5 months in my case) which they say was an exception this time of the year. So, if you don't mind waiting a bit for your order, I would say this is a good source to get your beef from.

The meat may be good, but I cannot say since I did not received my order. I paid the deposit and placed the order in July and they said I would receive it in 3 weeks. After 1 month I called to get an update and they told me it is going to take 2 more weeks. 2 months after I placed the order I am still waiting but now they do not even bother to answer or text back.

In September, I paid a deposit for both 1/4 beef and 1/2 pork ($250). I was phoned in late Sept. and told that our order would be delivered that weekend, which is was not. I called the next week and was told that our order would arrive that weekend, which it did not. I called again and was told by the owner that he would call me when he was ready to deliver it but indicate dit would be that weekend or the next. The order was never delivered and I have now requested my deposit back 3 times to no response. I would be VERY wary of purchasing here. I am giving one star so that I can leave this review to share my experience with others, but if possible, I would not have given it even this one star.

These guys are terrible! Buyer beware. They owe me an $800 refund promised weeks ago and I’m still calling and looking for it.

I ordered a full cow in October and gave an $800 deposit. They claim they didn’t receive cut sheets until a few weeks later. And as a result couldn’t deliver our cow meat. But in mean time I called, texted, with no return calls, no follow ups, no communications whatsoever! Finally in early December I got thru and promised to mail me our $800 refund but still nothing!

What a bunch of crooks stealing money during Christmas season! Do yourself a favor and find an organization with integrity! I would question the real quality and integrity of the product based on the lack of quality and integrity of the management.

The quality of the meat is easily 5* and worth the price, if you get what you ordered. The folks here are very friendly when you can get ahold of them.
That is the issue however, you can't seem to get any calls backs after you place the order. Our order was delivered 3 weeks later than expected, which is ok, but we received no updates or reason. We finally got our meat and found out we were shorted 30#. I have tried to reach out 4 times and no one has bothered to call me back. Sad but we won't be ordering again at this point.

I got our first order in and I'm very happy! We ordered a 1/4 beef, filled out a easy to do form online, put in our deposit and waited. It took a bit longer than expected, but I attribute that to my order going in right in the middle of the holiday season. Andy delivered, he's one of the nicest men your ever going to meet. I don't know of any other beef suppliers where they actually deliver a big plus for us. Tonight, we're having farm fresh T-bones for dinner. We support local and state farmers, and businesses. We couldn't be more pleased!

Can't compare farm fresh to store bought beef. Some of the best beef I ever ate. Support a local farmer. Less wait time than most places. Took 5 weeks to get my order. Going to order a half next time to compare weight.
