Wow they have a great selection. Stopped here and got my favorite beanitos chips on a road trip. There was only 3 bags left and another gal was eyeing them too. But she went with another choice letting me get two bags. Once to the car, I immediately devoured a whole bag. The price was a a little higher than what it is ironwood mi at super one.

I added a photo of the chips in case anyone's interested in the best chips available on earth.

The revolving door is really cool. Could watch that thing all day. It had festive decorations in some kind of revolving miniature enclosures between the two huge revolving entry ways in the circle.

Overall the place was fancy. Music selection over the loud speaker was good.

Edit. I did not tell you about the "turkey with cranberry mustard" I bought along with the beanitos.
I assumed it would be cranberries inside the bread and turkey with mustard(as an odd twist). Instead it was (probably) cranberry jelly soaked into both sides to the bead and the turkey in the middle. Not delightful. Bring it to customer service for something else. as this isn't tasty at all.

I absolutely love this store. Angeli's has the nicest people working there! Always a greeting and will walk the entire floor to take you to whatever you are looking for! Excellent variety of meat and produce. And my favorite thing is the huge amount of Italian foods available. Olive bar, cheese and Italian meats, vat of fill yourself olive oil. Amazing bakery and deli. Priced very reasonably for our area!

Really nice store. I love their bakery and they have supper good brats. The best thing though is their staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This is the only place I've ever been to that puts the ice we bought in our cart for us. Keep up the great work!

Love this store. Have alot of sales, quality quality, everything is organized well, easy to find what you need. Phenomenal deli, and the bakery is top notch! They have the best cake decorator. She can put whatever you want on your cake. Meat is pricey, look for sales.They do have excellent meat and a good seafood selection. If you want to find the dairy products JUST LISTEN FOR THE COW

We are so saddened to hear that this amazing store has sold to to the most generic grocery store out there, Super One. They may as well have sold out to Walmart! In the few years that we have been shopping at this location we have always been impressed with the amazing service and quality of products. Their Italian selections were out of this world! Their grasp of what true customer service should be was outstanding! When was the last time someone gave you a ticket number so you could go to your vehicle and pull it up to the curb for them to load up your purchases for you? We will miss this jem of a store greatly!!

I moved to the area about a year ago and shop this store weekly.They have good sales on things I buy often. The meat from here is quite good and fairly priced.Employees are mostly very nice friendly people.However the produce department always disappoints me.I understand this is upper michigan and prices will be a little higher but feel most the produce is sub-par and way overpriced because of this.They charge top dollar for produce that looks ok but has no flavor. 90% of the selection comes from other countries.Ive bought tasteless strawberries and blueberries from mexico-the blueberries weren't even blue they looked like green grapes inside.Today I saw watermelons on sale so I bought one.It smelled kind of rotten when I cut it open and didnt look like any watermelon Ive ever seen inside.I tasted a bite and it had a weird mushy texture and if anything had an strange cantalope taste.Tasted nothing like watermelon- couldnt even swallow it and spit it out.Now I have to drive miles out in the woods to throw the entire thing away as not to attract bears.After I drove 17 miles to buy the thing.Pineapples rot on your counter in 2 days.These are just a few examples of bad produce my list could go on and on.Also Im pretty sure almost every time I check my receipt when I get home I am mis-charged for at least one or more things.Many of the items I never would have bought If knew I was going to be charged that much.Ive become very attentive to signs and prices before choosing anything here but still end up with some surprise on the receipt. Today I bought an 8 pc chicken from the deli that I swore said 6.99 on the hot display case but the receipt said it was 8.99. I never would have bought that much chicken for myself if I thought I was paying that much.

If you want to support local, shop at Angelis! Prices are typical UP prices, which is high, however there are plenty of reasonably priced items. Great beer, wine, and liquor selection. Amazing olive bar and fill your own olive oil! Also check out their craft food selection with sundried tomatoes, vinegars, and imported preserves etc. This place has almost everything you need and more, which is key in a pretty remote area.

Not happy at all. They've got a policy in place that doesn't allow for any returns, etc. Which is somewhat understandable right now with the virus. But, I purchased some Deans milk from them. And even though I opened it well before the date on the carton, it was all spoiled as rotten as it could be. But they refused to give me a replacement gallon of milk. So, we had to go without milk for drinking and cooking. And then they wouldn't even stand behind their product and make it right. Shame on you Angeli's for using the virus as an excuse not to do so. Very disappointed.
