So grateful for our neighborhood feed store! Brenda and the rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and make sure you and your animals are taken care of down to the last detail. They take the time to listen and answer if you have any questions, make sure you know all your options so you and your animals can thrive. Not to mention they have incredibly fair prices, it’s a joy to see in today’s world. Brenda is an absolute gem for looking out for her customers like that. They’ve loaded everything up in my car for me every time and take true interest in what we are up to with our flocks. This is our number one stop for our chickens and ducks. We love American Hay Co.

Went in to look at the selection of shirts for cats and they had a lot to choose from. Brenda was really friendly and even gave me some food samples for my cats. There was another employee named Manuel that showed me a cute Hawaiian shirt I had to buy for my cat. The shirts were not overpriced at all. I will definitely be going back for some cat food because both my cats loved the samples.

We're so lucky to have this great business right here in Oak View.
I've been dealing with these folks for decades, and have even
adopted several of the cats and dogs that they work so hard
to find homes for. Their daughter (and resident groomer) Mikaila,
is a wonder! They've got everything you need to care for your
pets and livestock. Just ask our mini, Archie (below).

Opens @ 9/00 am they can take u if u reach there 4/30 or 5/00 Pm maximum Easy In N out for 53 ft Dry Van , Quick Offload Turn around easy once u empty thanks to the fork lift guy , all nice folks. ; Do not block their Gate no overnight parking available in their driveway as there are residential area on both sides Good luck for their Business .

I just want to thank Danny so much. We have seen a drop in quality of hay over at The Wharf, ever since their supplier switched. It was an orchard/timothy mix, but the hay would be yellow and extremely dusty. We looked everywhere for an alternative feed store within a reasonable distance. Timothy has become out of the question due to the poor quality across the board with farms, local or out of state. If it weren't for American Hay & Mercantile, we'd be paying a fortune to ship orchard mini bales to us. We're an in-home guinea pig rescue with, currently, thirteen guinea pigs. It's always a joy to call and come in with Danny there. I guess we're regulars now.

I shop there quite often. I have had bad experiences with other feed stores; the customer service is lacking. But, at American Hay they are helpful, very caring of all animals and never rude. People come in and chit-chat. We are made to feel cared for. Insulting staff might have to do more with the problem of the customer.
I don’t want to shop anywhere else.
