What a great spot to explore the plants and pots with plenty of fun family fun scattered throughout! Houseplants, natives, trees, shrubs and flowers….you need it, this place has it! The canopy of Valley Oaks makes for a magical experience like none other!

5/5 stars for the man who takes care of the indoor plants here! I’ve spent a few pretty pennies on all my plants from Alden Lane Nursery because it’s one of the only
nurseries that has reasonable prices and high quality plants with no major pest problems.

I love to shop for plants and have frequented a lot of the nurseries in the east bay—Alden Lane Nursery is always the best. Highly recommend if you’re in the tri-valley area!

I visited this nursery for the first time yesterday and I was overwhelmed! So many variety of plants and flowers wonderfully set beneath big and gracefully aged oak trees! They had a very big selection of pottery and garden sculpture. This is heaven for garden lovers! They had a beautiful indoor shop too! Will definitely go back and spend more time in this paradise.

When it comes to bay area nurseries, I drive the whole bay area in search of the cream of the crop and Alden Lane nails it. It's embarrassing mentioning that today was the first time visiting this place but I'll definitely be coming back more often knowing what a gem it is. Starting at the entry, it gives you estate vibes - then you see the building, beautiful space. Now the selection, they have everything and unlike many nurseries, their pepper selection is on ?. Hot and super hot peppers, bell peppers and everything in between. Lots of places the plants look sad and malnourished, but this place they are vibrant and healthy. Definitely will be visiting on a regular basis to see what else I find

It can’t get better than this, and will be our go-to nursery from now on..
Great selection of plants, very friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff.

It takes a lot to maintain this place with such elegance for so long! Highly recommended..

There were alot of plants to choose from. The plant were very healthy and brilliant in color. They are a bit pricey compared to other generic garden stores. But if you are looking for a unique plant this is a definite plant to go.

First time at Alden Lane Nursery... It was amazing. My manager told me to check it out after our meeting, so I tried my best to not take too long looking around as it was an unofficial extended lunch. I will definitely be going back! The plants were all so healthy and beautiful. I was able to purchase ladybugs, which was out of stock in stores. I can't wait to go back and spend the day there. I bought indoor plants, ground cover, succulents, worm castings, a birch branch (!) for a project I have, and a mini trellis. A perfect haul at reasonable prices. I wish they had more hanging pots, but the pots they did have were beautiful and very good quality.
