Superb coffee, freshly baked treats, and a cozy vintage vibe. The perfect atmosphere to meet friends or catch up on work using the free wifi. I opted to borrow one of their reusable coffee mugs for my drink rather than a single-use cup! They also sell honey and other local goods. 100% recommend 🙂

Today’s lunch experience was, as usual, stellar! You’d never expect to find a gem like this in a quiet little resort town like Harrisville! Alcona Coffee Co never disappoints with the love that goes into their food items! Every sandwich on the lunch menu is made to order using the freshest, highest quality ingredients that are sure to please any palate. I’m not sure which lunch item is my favorite, they’re all so good! The atmosphere here is so cozy, welcoming, comfortable, and most importantly, clean! It’s obvious that the owner is passionate about what they do, and it shows! Take a break from your busy day or as your driving through the area to experience the amazing hospitality, service, and exceptional quality food that is being served up at Alcona Coffee Co.

My cappuccino wasn't hot, barely warm. Service was great, and so were the brownies. Atmospheres cozy. The problem was, that for a coffee shop, I expected decent coffee. My cappuccino was boy hot, I'm reluctant to call it warm, but that's about all it was. Tasted like decent coffee but I can't really say considering it was cold/warm and I wanted hot coffee.
I'll give it another shot in the near future and update accordingly based on both visits.

Recently I treated myself to lunch army the Alcona Coffee Company where I had an outstanding turkey panini sandwich on ciabatta bread (with lettuce and tomato and “the works”) and a chocolate oatmeal bar. It was amazing! I love all the choices that are available so that you can have your food exactly as you want it…and then there is The Big Dipper ice cream shop conveniently attached…All this in the heart of downtown Harrisville and within walking distance of the Harrisville harbor and the Harrisville State Park.

Update*** this place continues to be one of our favorites!!! The lunch special today (turkey sandwich with homemade red pepper hummus on local sourdough) was sublime. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are kind and approachable. The new owners are keeping the charm and hospitality but with a new vibe that keeps you coming back for more.

Great little coffee shop in an area where there aren't many options. We were pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere where you can just chill and read or visit friends.
Our lattes were amazing, so much so that we tried to visit again the next day, but closed before we could. (In my opinion, closing at 4pm on a Friday is too early.) The young lady working was very pleasant and fast. They offer a decent sandwich menu as well as baked goods. The muffins were delicious. This will definitely be a mandatory stop anytime, we're in the area, and it should be for everyone.
