Great chickens! Last year I ordered black copper marans chicks. They shipped from west coast to east coast and were the healthiest chicks I have ever received. Absolutely no health issues, beautiful chicks. My rooster is a big beautiful boy and the hens are so pretty. They are laying eggs now. One lays slightly lighter with speckles. The others all lay the deep, chocolate brown color. Absolutely gorgeous eggs! All have nice temperaments. Definitely recommended and Definitely will buy again in the future. Her chickens are far higher quality than the larger hatcheries that ship. I always have health issues with chicks from the larger hatcheries. Alchemist Farm chicks were the healthiest and strongest I have ever raised.

I cannot recommend Alchemist Farms enough! From the moment I first ordered the customer service was exceptional! I even inquired about pushing up my order and few weeks and they gladly accommodated!
Our family received our 12 chicks last week! We ordered 9 and they kindly added 3 more! The baby chicks arrived in perfect condition and have been lively and friendly from the moment they arrived. My kids are over the moon! Our Labrador loves them! Our neighbors love them!
We are so excited for a rainbow of eggs hopefully by next spring! Chicken math is real because I already want more!

I picked up my order of 10 chicks from the post office yesterday. Unfortunately, half had perished in transit, which was a little under a 3-day trip for the chicks (CA to TX). The box included a grow-gel-like substance in cups, a heat pack, and one extra chick of one of the breeds I had ordered, which would’ve been exciting if it hadn’t perished. The surviving chicks seem very healthy and have had no problems at all so far.

The reason for 4 stars is because of how incredibly responsive and empathetic the owner, Franchesca, has been. I believe that they truly do their best to ship chicks safely to the best of their ability, and looking at social media, they seem to really emphasize humane practices. Thankfully, she has made arrangements for me to receive a new batch of the chicks next week to reconcile the sad situation. I will update this review when I receive the re-shipment of my order.

What an amazing farm! I love what they stand for, their care and compassion towards chickens and the earth! I purchased 6 baby chicks and they all came to me completely healthy and vibrant! All friendly too! I was even surprised to see two extra babies in the mix 🙂 I love that their shipping box and contents are all eco friendly as well! I recommend Alchemist Farm to everyone! Great variety of chicks, all breeds come with pictures and info about every chicken. Great customer service. Chicks were delivered on promised date in box with bedding, gel food and warm "pouch". All chicks were healthy and very good looking 🙂 pure joy in the box. Definitely will buy again from Alchemist farm.

I am a first time chicken owner and first time customer to Alchemist Farm. What I love the most is that I have been able to personally interact with Franchesca; asking questions, getting feedback, assistance before, during, and after my transaction. That is so important to me! These chicks are 6 weeks old and what is completely evident that they have wonderful temperaments. I have purchased chicks from Alchemist Farm three different times with a fourth order pending for April ‘24. We have had over 100 chicks and can say they are the best - the demeanor of the birds, quality of the stock (feathers and size), and production are top notch. Even the roosters are amazing!
