The place is ok
Its a little tricky to dock it because you have to turn around on their other parking lot and back it up from the street in to a tight spot. And yea there is 1 guy with negative attitude you just gotta ignore but everyone else was helpful

The worst part about this shipper is the older man receiving drivers he is very rude with a real nasty attitude. ā€œHe’s just like thatā€ is unacceptable. He needs to be handled by the company before he’s handled by a driver, not everyone will put up with being talked down to for no reason. They only have two working dock doors. Apparently they have another building across the street with plenty of room and several dock doors but they still aren’t using it after months of being ā€œunder constructionā€, so… they have two dock doors. It’s very tight and there’s giant rocks everywhere. You have to back all the way down the street because there’s no space to turn around or pull forward. Like other drivers have stated, they do have company contracts so those drivers take priority and will skip you if you aren’t paying attention. Instead of the owner making excuses they should make changes.

*** Updated to add- Please see the owner’s childish response below. It’s sad people like this are still in operation. He questions my driving skills because I’m one of the ā€œfewā€ that has a problem with the set up of his facility but every review below mine says the exact same thing. The one under mine says ā€œit’s nearly impossibleā€. He knows who the pos employee is that is causing his Google review rating to consistently drop, as several other reviews have stated, they told the manager about him already. This ā€œprofessionalā€ owner would rather come after the drivers who keep his business moving than to fix the issues with his company. Let me revise my previous statement. The biggest issue with this shipper is the owner.

This place DOES NOT care about the drivers time! O/O avoid at ALL costs!!
I arrived at 0900 and was told to park at the dock next to the tracks. It is very tight and nearly impossible. There can't be any other trucks in your way. Box trucks will jump the line and pull right in ahead of you. I was waiting on them to unload 4 pallets off a box truck and it took them 1.5 hours to do it.
This place is very unorganized and super slow. Pack a lunch and be ready to do a split. I didn't get in the door until 1130.

You need to back in there, there is not enough room to turn around. Only two trucks can be unloaded at the same time; but the drivers use the first one on the right. I didn't see two forklift drivers. I saw only one working. The place is located in a dead-end street on the right.
It is true that it is a small place; nonetheless, experienced drivers should be able to make their deliveries everywhere. Truck drivers analyze the receiver's area before going there. People are very friendly. It seems that drivers from Saddle Creek deliver every day at the facility, so they are served first or they have early appointments. If you had a delivery for the next day and you arrived the night before, you can park in the place call "Bufalo Rock" it is located about 300 yards on your left before you get to the facility. The address is 126 Citation CT Birmingham, AL. I think that AlaBev owns that place too. They told me to park there the night before I arrived there.

DO NOT think you have a chance to be unloaded in time, even if you have an appointment or arrive early, like if you come a day before, or first thing in the morning, you will be pushed at the end of the line, around noon. Only locals have priorities and unfortunately OTR drivers are the ones that lose their time. The facilities has only 2 doors for loading-unloading and one worker. Zero star is to much, but I have no choice. Very tight place to operate a 18th wheeler

Not as bad as everyone made it seem. Definitely been in worst situations as far as backing to the dock. The guy(didn't see name tag) that unloaded me was pretty friendly. He explained how I should back up, finished unloaded me over the box truck that showed up after me, didnt complain that I backed into the wrong door and just unloaded me. In and out as well.

The person who received me was very disrespectful, he says he doesn't care about anything, you try to be nice to him and he is very rude. He must understand that he is not the only man in the world, that can have consequences. šŸ‘Ž

Hard spot to back into, will have to turn into building across street and back down the road and do 45 in order to back up to dock,

The fork lift driver (white guy) is very unprofessional and rude, he had attitude all because I gave him the Bill of landing and started cursing, I told his manger about his actions and hopefully there will be some consequences but I doubt there will be any because it seem as he as a history of being rude to people
