My father, who has dementia, was a client at Ruth Byck for 10+years. He got sick one day while at the center. He was admitted in the hospital then the Rehab Center. Ruth Byck was a blessing to me and my father because I had to work. I received a call on today for the COO, Mrs. Patsy stating that my father doesn't meet the requirement of the center anymore. She said that she got several reports from her nurses that he was a two person assist when it comes to changing him which is false because I have been inside of the build when one CNA was changing him. I kept the nurse informed of his progress while at the Rehab Center but Mrs. Patsy started that I didn't. He doesn't have any behavioral issues and love socializing with the other clients. He loves checkers and playing cards. I feel like it is unjust for them to terminate his services because everything was based off lies. This new administration is all about the money not the people. So now I have to stop working because they said it is a issue with changing him. P.S. They're several other clients who wear protection underwear as well. Who is changing them? NOBODY!!!
