They treat you just like family in here... The food is good, it is authentically made just like 150 years ago in Mexico. Great atmosphere wonderful antique tin panel ceiling and tile floors just like you would want in a Mexican restaurant.. and the food is very delicious it is cooked right and it is hot and the staff and the wait staff are genuine very courteous and extremely attentive to your every need. So folks the next time you're in Clarinda Iowa stop in at El Toro Mexican restaurant you will not be disappointed. The food was good got pretty packed after we arrived it seemed we arrived just in time i ordered the steak burrito 🌯 mi son ordered some 🌮 tacos de carne asada. I added the 🍹margaritas 🍹 as well blended is the way to go very refreshing.

The food was great, as always. The music was super annoying! They clearly need to learn the crowd they are serving and be more contentious about what is on the TV. By this, I mean the Saturday night crowd vs the Sunday lunch crowd are different people. The establishment was very clean and well put together. I'll return, I can ignore the TV and music. I enjoy authentic Spanish speaking servers. However, it would be nice if they spoke a little more clearly.
