My little sister went here for driving lessons. At her lesson, he yelled at her multiple times, made her STOP FOR GAS because he forgot to beforehand, and made her cry. She was hitting the brake, and instead of calmly telling her not to, he screams at her “THE BRAKE. IS. NOT. A. TOY” while REPEATEDLY stomping on his brake. At that point she was already sobbing. I’m not sure if every instructor is this way, but there’s no reason to be yelling at someone who is still learning how to drive. Don’t teach if you don’t have the patience and kindness to. Aside from that, the ladies at the front are incredibly sweet.

Edit: I’m not able to directly respond to Driving Zone’s response, but to address management and warn others, my mom DID in fact call and inform y’all of the treatment my sister endured. Instead of apologizing or taking some form of accountability they DOUBLED DOWN. I would not have left a 1 star review if the instructor or your management just properly apologized to begin with. That was all we wanted. It’s unfortunate that I had to add a bad review for y’all to care enough.

I signed up my grandson for the 3 hour course. I had requested Mr Gonzalez to be his instructor. Mr. Gonzalez was the instructor on his first day and my grandson was extremely pleased. On his second day I found he had a different instructor and he was not pleased with the performance. I called and was told Mr. Gonzalez was only available on and off. I informed him that it was not what I was told. I changed my grandson 3rd visit to 2 weeks later. They would have gotten 5 stars if not for this

I paid $180/3hrs for my 16yrs old daughter to learn how to drive. They scheduled her Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 1st day went ok. 2nd day, her sister picked her up after her driving lesson. She called me crying so hard and couldn’t even speak right, all I heard from her was to cancel the next session because she was scared. I asked her to take a deep breath and when she calms down to text me. After my daughter was calm, she told me, “I thought it was going good at the beginning until like the middle and the end of the lesson when I could tell he started to lose his patience because he would raise his voice at me and in one moment we were at a stop and I was on the brake and he started stomping on it really hard couple times and he kept stomping on it loudly and screamed at me said the brake is not a toy. I got really scared and I felt unsafe and he was being really mean after that and made me feel like everything I was doing was wrong.” She begged me to cancel and not to take her back there. So I called and requested to speak with whoever is in charge. I received a call the next afternoon, the lady stated that she’s the director of driving zone and asked me what seemed to be the problem. I told her what my daughter experienced on the 2nd day. And she said she has spoken to Mr J, he told her that he noticed my daughter came with a very sad face. As all of driving zone instructors, their voices have to be firm and loud cuz it’s very dangerous out there on the road, and inside each vehicle has cameras and it recorded every time there are lessons in place.Their instructors didn’t do anything wrong. If you want you can speak with your daughter’s instructor Mr J or have your daughter come for a last lesson with you in the car and with Mr J too. I told the director that I do understand how dangerous the road out there is, that’s why I paid for my daughter to have a better driving lesson at a driving school, Mr J had failed to teach and be patient with a new driver who’s trying to learn how to drive. Mr J judged my daughter’s appearance, “a sad face” and decided to bully her. I also told the director that 1st, it was wrong to put a 16yrs old girl inside the car with a male instructor alone, 2nd she talked like she had reviewed the camera when she actually didn’t, 3rd she kept ignoring parent/kid concerns about the safety of being in the car with their instructor. I asked her if she already reviewed the camera footage, I would like to see it, cuz she sounded like my daughter is at fault. She said she hadn’t seen it nor that the camera in the car sometimes doesn’t work…etc.. And she continued offering my daughter to come with another instructor. Again she ignored the main concern that my daughter felt unsafe and scared to be back at driving zone. I told her as a parent, I will not and never take my kid back there knowing what she went through, that experience scarred her. Before she hung up she said to me all services were rendered. I couldn’t believed what was happening, it left me speechless.

This was actually a really amazing experience. Set appointment for driving test and they had me in the same day. The staff was super cool and the service was really great. My instructor let me know was expected and the test was over in no time. Really great place I'll definitely refer my friends and bring my son in a few years when it's his time to learn.

I would highly recommend Driving Zone. They worked with us every step of the way and made this whole process extremly easy. We started during COVID so my son had to do the classes online and I served as his driving instructor. Before he took his drivers test I had him work with their instructor a few times just to make sure we were on the right track.
Since he was nervous we opted to do a practice test before he did his actual driving test. I would recommend this to anyone who is nervous. It was a good way for my son to get used to the instrutor and be more relaxed during the actual test.
So happy we went with Driving Zone!

Ms Morales was extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable during my mock exam which I believe contributed to me passing the actual test. She was the best, highly highly recommend this school if you get nervous easily like I do!
