Got a flat tire in South Beloit, IL on a Friday night and called for roadside assistance. Adam came to the rescue in no time with his truck, and it was clear right away he’s a pro — nearly 30 years in the business! He got us safely back to town, and we had such a great time chatting along the way. After dropping off the vehicle, he even offered us a free ride home. Adam, thank you so much — you turned a stressful night into a genuinely enjoyable experience! Highly recommend!

They charged me $2,600 for a 160 mile trip and the driver still stoped to take a dot exam that had my driver waiting outside for 1 hour and 30 minutes. No towing company charges $2,600 for 160 mile trip . They lied they said it was $285 an hour but they charged extra hours. I usually pay with all other towing companies $1,400 for a 160 mile trip. I have gotten towed from minesota to Chicago for $2,400 which is double the distance , this time it was by Madison Wisconsin to Chicago only a 3 hour drive. Super expensive

My Mustang’s coolant reservoir failed on the highway and overheated, was quoted 30-45 minutes but the driver showed up in around 15!! He was so friendly and nice to talk to and took fantastic care of my car, even offered to unload it into my garage for me. I unfortunately didn’t catch his name because I was all over the place but he was so fantastic and kind and I would definitely recommend.

After having over $10,000 in work done on my vehicle, including replacing an alternator twice because the first one was faulty, they still charged me over $80 to test the alternator and battery while alternator is under warranty. They then told me there was nothing wrong with the alternator. The very next day my battery light was on again, all of the dash lights came on, and my vehicle died. I called to ask if they could tow me and check the alternator and was told that since the alternator checked out fine the day before, I would have to foot the bill for the tow and it clearly wasn’t the alternator that was wrong. This is very poor customer service in my opinion and we won’t be back. Turns out alternator was bad and I’ll be claiming the warranty myself.

If you want a company that values customers and relationships, don’t go here. They are only concerned with the dollar and will step over you to get it. Also, don’t email them with any concerns or you will get a canned email response. Just another reason to avoid.

broke down near sun prarie this afternoon, in a very dangerous spot on the freeway. when I called they initially quoted 45min but Adam was there in 15! he had me loaded in less than 5 min, drove me to my dads shop in oshkosh, 1 hr away, and even gave me a lift 30min further north to appleton so I could get a rental car (all of them were sold out in oshkosh for eaa!) Adam, youre the MVP cant thank you enough.

On the unfortunate occasions that I've needed a tow, Prairieland has always timely, friendly and professional! The drivers and dispatchers are fantastic, and my vehicleis well cared for. If I could rate more stars I would. Highly recommended.

My recent experience with Ben at Prairie Land Towing was nothing short of amazing.

My car stopped working suddenly on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. It was 40 degrees and my car wouldn't turn on. I called AAA and never actually heard from their truck. To my surprise, a tow truck pulled up behind me a mere 25 minutes after my car died. It was Ben who saw me when he was driving the other direction. He actually turned around in the nasty weather (it was starting to turn to snow at this point) to "make sure I was good".

I can't sing his praises enough or thank him for being there for me that evening. Sometimes God sends tow trucks!
