We absolutely love our Mountain Sun CSA! This will be our 3rd year with them and it’s become a fun weekly routine for our family while in season- first to venture to pick our bag up, see what we get, then find fun ways to prepare the produce. The quality is wonderful and we love that we’re exposing our girls to a variety of fruits and veggies. We made our first trip to the farm for a visit this past fall- Brian and Liz are on a mission and their passion shines when you chat with them! Happy to KNOW our farmers! Highly recommend!

We truly enjoy supporting our local farmers and being apart of the CSA. Brian and Liz, the owners, are nice people! It’s a joy bringing home fresh, organic produce grown just around the corner. Their sunflower pick this year was also a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Absolute favorite CSA in the area. You know exactly how your veggies are grown and where they come from (their farm!). They have the well-being of their employees in mind and heart. They bring a much-appreciated philosophy from an agriculture standpoint. The CSA itself is structured, easy to navigate, always on time and you get updates and recipe ideas weekly. It's been one of my favorite parts about moving to Alabama. I know how I feed my family and we can taste the difference.

I'm an original Mountain Sun Farm CSA member and continue to renew each season. It has been a pleasure to see the farm's reach expand to a wider area and into grocery stores! MSF CSA shares are always fresh and plentiful, with an excellent variety throughout both growing seasons. I also appreciate the online store for optional add-on items. I'm amazed that MSF delivery is on-time every week, especially considering the effort it takes to harvest, sort, and then make the daily trek from Mentone to Birmingham. The weekly price point is more than fair and far less than I would spend to buy an equal variety of fresh produce at a retail store. Thanks to Liz & Brian for continuing to share their expertise and true joy in farming with the extended MSF family.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this farm, these farmers and the CSA. The prices are reasonable. They have easy pick up spots all around Birmingham (for me) and the veggies and fruits are delicious. They also have to option to add on veggies and to take a vacation break as well. HIGHLY recommend!!

The best vegetables, and the nicest people! We are not only weekly CSA customers (they deliver to Birmingham and other cities every week), but we buy from them at Birdsong Farmers Market. No matter the season, we can count on Mtn Sun Farm for fresh, local, ORGANIC produce. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Sign up for the CSA and visit them at the market. You won’t be disappointed.
