Been a Kamps customer for 17 years. Loved them. No issues. Couple years ago Kamps went commercial with a company out of Canada. Ever since then Customer Service tanked and prices greatly increased. Today I called and cancelled service to go with another local company. No “thank you for being a long time customer”, no “what can we do to keep you”, no “can you tell us how we can improve”….just “okay we will have someone out to pick up the tank, bye.” And that folks is how commercial companies destroy small business.

Kamps customer for 24 years. Had two regulators replaced on my Kamps propane tank by Mike. He made a site visit within 48 hours of scheduling with the office. Set up follow appointment and on time as promised. Did all safety checks and relight hot water heater. Mike was terrific and I recommend Kamps for regular propane service.

We moved from Ferrellgas to Kamps Propane a few years ago and we know they were bought out by a corporation out of Canada but they've always been so wonderful, especially under the new ownership, we're happy Kampers here at Double STack and Feed.

Here is the truth about Kamps! When it comes to customer service this propane company can't be beat I say that because when calling their you know you always get that friendly voice on the phone and my rep well his name is Richard and he is just always nice he's very honest about propane and the setup there are definitely ways to use your propane the correct way at the right time. He actually has some tips and tricks to best keep your propane cost low and not excessive.

THANKS SOOO MUCH SONIA!!Having lived in the Barona area since 2005, I've received propane from 2 companies so far and once something is working well I don't have a tendency to change it. However, times are hard and I wanted to call around and see how much other companies are charging for propane. I called every company that does propane delivery and Kamps in Alpine had them beat. They had a great 1st time customer deal, lowest current price per gallon for existing customers and the tank rental fee was almost half of my current fee. I had read some negative reviews and was worried about switching companies even with the savings I would get. Luckily, Sonia, (who is a rock star!!!) Really helped me out. I hadn't heard back after my original inquiry for service so I decided to call back after few days.. luckily, Sonia answered and within minutes she assessed our needs, explained the process and sent me the application to my email.. .She even prefilled the form for me based on my answers!!! All I had to do is review and sign...gotta love it! A glitch had come up on my application and rather than leave me hanging, Sonia personally called me to follow up on the matter, attained the correct info and gave me instant approval on the spot after she ran it through their system. That's customer service at its best....Thank you so much, Kamps and all the customers you help are blesses to have you there..!!! Maybe some of the negative reviews were a result of not being patient or not taking the time to see the human being on the other end of the line. I figure if I'm rude and approach things from an entitled perspective, then of course people will be rude in return but generally speaking sincere kindness and appreciation is great for all of us..thanks again Sonia!!

For starts I tried reaching kamps for multiple days prior to the weekend. The phone system just kept sending me to a answering machine. We were finally able to schedule a fill on Monday it is now Thursday and we are below ten percent. We have a small child and the weather has been really cold on the mountain causing us to use more. Sonia's customer service is terrible and a majority of the time she is very rude. She informed us it could take up to 10 days to get a fill. The drivers are awesome along with other staff. This review is for you Sonia people spend a lot of money on your company's services the least you could do is be respectful.

Kamps service has been reliable and the set up was seamless because the property I purchased I already had a Kamps tank. I had some billing issues but once I was able to speak with the manager Craig he got then corrected immediately. If you have any billing or customer service issues I would not hesitate to ask for Craig he was very responsive and seemed happy to help.

Our delivery driver is amazing! He is always so friendly and helpful. However the girl in the office that answers the phone has the worst customer service. She was very rude and could care less about my current situation. Yes we owed money from our last fill, but times are tough and I haven't been able to make a payment then I get a call from our driver saying he has a lock order but doesn't want to do that to us and to call the office. Well I did and I explained our situation and that we have 3 small children in the house and she could care less, then hung up on me. I offered to make a small payment and she said it was to late. What happened to helping people out in these hard times?
