Excellent and friendly service! Felt really good after eating here! I had a Western burger. Their burger meat is carrot raised and carrot finished! Really impressed with everything here. I had an Italian soda, organic cauliflower wings, and organic sweet potato fries. Wish we had this place in Oklahoma!

Got the bacon+fig burger and it was pretty good! The fries are delicious, too. The ranch was absolutely bomb 🔥🔥🔥The Fresca drink was super refreshing. Service was not the best though, waitress kept forgetting things for our table and it was not busy from what we could see. Expect a long wait for the food to be out, but I gotta admit it was well worth the wait.

Came in for lunch. They are pet friendly. 3 separate outdoor seating areas with shade and heaters. 2 separate indoor dining areas and it looked like a Togo window. Parking lot plus street parking. Great menu, enough vegetarian options or things you can take the meat off of. Beer and wine for drinks. Service was great and friendly.

Nice and polite staff. Servers very professional. We'll dressed. Nice presentation. Met dear friends for lunch, drive up from Woodland Hills. For lunch. Not really a regular at all in Bakersfield. Keep in mind at home, eat at places in Calabasas and such. Basically orders sandwiches and soups. The onion rings were mostly batter, and not very crispy. Not sure if that is a style. Pastrami sandwich good with taste and character. Requested salt and pepper for the table of 6. The setting was not exception. Covered patio outside on a street. We got 4 of the six orders. But had wait 5 minutes for 2 others, and the host was waiting for all so to give a blessing. I think the pricing was good and reasonable. Maybe this visit was unique with the dual meal delivery times. So in closing the staff was very nice.

Love this spot! It’s changed a lot over the years and I do miss a lot with the updates they’ve made. I used to go quite often, but not as much since they have stopped doing the fried green beans…those were the absolute best thing on their menu!

We do love their burgers—unique combinations with fantastic flavor profiles. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. The stone fruit salad is also a major win, as well as the tuna sandwich.

Great little spot for lunch. The interior is beautiful and unique!

My family never spent more than a meals worth of time in Bakersfield before, traveling from northern to Southern California or vice versa. While this time was no different in that regard it was certainly more memorable because of the food and people at Locale.

We arrived at Locale just after opening to a mostly empty restaurant. It was decorated in a modern, trendy style using art from locals. When we asked to eat outside because we were traveling with a dog they offered us an empty room in the back to keep us out of the cold. We were served our drinks, including a really yummy fresh made juice for my son, and given a complimentary appetizer that we all devoured.

It seems like the menu might rotate somewhat but the chefs allowed us something off menu for our kids who are picky eaters.

My wife and I ordered sandwiches that were made with fresh ingredients and well prepared. They also had a variety of salads and hamburgers and other new American fare on the menu.

We left feeling like everyone here went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure we were satisfied with our food and visit. It was nice to get a small taste of Bakersfield on our trip this time around and hope we can return soon to try some more of the dishes.

Nice interior, samples before meal we great, it's a bit of a wait so order ahead if in a rush but regardless the food is worth the wait. Cowboys tacos were Delicious.. and the fries as well.. great cooking
