If I could rate them in negative stars I would. Terrible. My lights got cut off in September for delinquent payment. When this happened, I was sick, diagnosed with COVID, with paperwork to show as proof if needed. Called them n guess what .. they cut em off next day. Now, I finally got paperwork approved for a monthly utility check and now they've jacked my bill up to 400. Check covers 108. And they will not work with me. I'd love to know how their employees sleep at night!

The supervisor and woman who works behind the counter this establishment are very disrespectful rude and are not willing to talk to anybody over a phone they believe that they have authority to abuse people and not have any recoil from it I do not advise using these people I would sooner buy solar panels and install them myself because working with these people is like pulling nails or ripping teeth out of someone's face the only reason I'm even giving a one-star review is because they do not provide a zero star review this woman is a stuck-up woman and should not have a job

The Ladies and Gentlemen at our Farmers Electric here are the best. I have never had any problem they have not been able to help me with. I am blind and it is just a pleasure to have good competent people behind the counter.

I came in to pay my mothers bill and have her reconnected. Its winter and they shut her power and heat supply off over 105.00. They dont care up there about anyones situations or have any assistance. If it isnt paid then they dont care they shut you off.. and the office personel all had an attitude when i went in to pay. No other utility company is shutting off ur electric or gas this time of year but farmers electric cooperative in newport sure will.

Absolutely the worst utility supplier, how in the world is someone with no job and 3 kids supposed to pay a $500 deposit? They are setting people up for failure and should be sued
