I had an amazing experience, definitely would recommend! I got a cookie cake with customized wording in icing and they were so open to doing exactly what I asked for. Not to mention the actual cake was delicious! It was very good for the regular cookie cake, it was moist and soft like an actual cookie out of an oven. I loved their shop and how kind the staff was over email, phone and in person!

I was a guest at our friend’s wedding Sunday. If the owner of this business knew the Mother of the Groom and his family, they would know that they are all class; friendly people who expect to get what they pay for and trust me anyone would be proud to call them friends. What transpired Sunday, regarding the Bride’s and Groom’s cake was totally outrageous and extremely unprofessional. I noticed on your website that the business requires an in-depth contract to provide wedding cakes. Unfortunately, as far as the owner’s responsibility, the contract is lacking definition, including failure to communicate with the customer. Sugar House’s total ghosting of my friend ON THE AFTERNOON OF THE WEDDING was inexcusable, even if there are extreme circumstances. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. FROZEN CAKE! REALLY?

I’m SO happy we chose Sugar House for our wedding cakes! We ordered a 4 tier bridal cake with multiple flavors- lemon cake with blackberry filling and vanilla cake with raspberry filling. They both tasted amazing! Very moist and not too sweet - just right. We had an “interesting” request for the grooms cake… my husband is a foot surgeon, so we got a foot cake! 😂 We knew it would be an odd request but she delivered! It was a huge hit. Grooms cake was chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and it was decadent. We will be back at Sugar House in the future for sure!

We used her service for our Wedding 2020 Feb. before she had her store front in Fairhope. She was very personable and very thorough. Gave us the Sample of flavor (there was a minimal cost but really low cost) on cupcake and we had fun tasting every one of them. We just wanted simple two tear cake (flower were out by us lol) and the cake was delicious!
Her store in downtown sells cookies and cupcakes now, they are all so good!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE customer service. She was rude from the get-go, very unfriendly, when picking up the cake samples. We reached out with questions regarding flavors and she didn’t answer the questions but only sent a new quote as if that was a reply in itself. Trying to book for a wedding and getting replies maybe every ten days is not doable for us and we moved on to a more friendly company. Don’t waste your time!

Brittney did an excellent job with our wedding cake. We did a cake tasting, showed her a picture of a cake that we liked from pintrest, and she blew it out of the water! The cake turned out better than the picture we showed her. She set it up beautifully and helped us with everything we needed. Perfect for any wedding!
