Stay Away from Lowery Manufacturing in Boaz, AL**

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Lowery Manufacturing in Boaz, AL. I brought in my Bush Hog and Rhino finish mower for repairs. The Rhino needed a bearing, and the Bush Hog required a new blade. They assured me they could fix both. They kept my equipment for over two weeks and disassembled it during that time. While they claimed the Bush Hog was repaired, they said they were waiting on parts for the Rhino.

To my dismay, they damaged my finish mower by breaking a spindle and then tried to order a part to replace what they had broken. Eventually, they told me to pick it up and charged me the full price for the replacement, even though no service had been rendered. Worse still, they returned the finish mower with the damaged spindle, broken bolts and damaged wheel in a box. A Hispanic man who barely spoke English gave it to me as the owners stayed clear.

When I called to address the issue, they claimed they had tried to order the part but couldn’t source it. When I asked how they intended to resolve the matter or refund my money, the representative hung up on me.

This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable. They were fully aware the damaged part would cost over $300, and yet, they refused to take responsibility for the situation.

Consumers deserve better than this. If you’re considering using their services, I strongly advise you to stay away. This business seems untrustworthy and unwilling to correct their mistakes, leaving me frustrated and financially out of pocket.

At the last minute I ordered new vanes for my ancient Baltomatic spreader along with some seals. Ordered on Wednesday, here on Thursday! Needed them Saturday. Wow, that was fast!! The lady I spoke with was very nice and sent exactly what I needed. The $20.00 shipping was cheaper than driving 100 miles round trip and I got OEM parts. No guessing game. I'm more than happy.

I bought a new 6' tiller in 2021,it leaked gear oil on my new concrete from the sight glass, they wouldn't give me a $2 part to fix the issue after I spent thousands on their unit! Sure! I can afford $2! But not paying $25 shipping! Way to go taking care of your customers lowery!

The folks there have always been nice and helpful. Purchased a 7’ Andy Special a 2 years ago. I haven’t abused it, just normal use. The deck developed a few cracks where the gearbox mounts after it loosened a little. I replaced with new fiber lock nuts and loctite. Every single nut loosened and a couple bolts came out while using it. Didn’t take long. I replaced all the nuts with fiber lock nuts. The point in all this is the machine could be way better with just a little bit more expense. Fiber lock nuts are not that much more than standard ones. The deck where the gearbox mounts should be 1/16” thicker. Again very nice folks just a little disappointed in the QC. I would buy it again but would replace every nut right up front and check the torque.
