Absolutely the best nursery in town! Moved here in June, and they have the best employees, the best selection. The pricing is the best in town, and don't get me started on the pottery selection. No one has better. Every person has great knowledge of plants and will help in anyway they can. Been going thru some heavy stuff in my personal life and they have been my therapist. Lol
I've been shown such kindness, I'm touched. All of you, from (Gage) spelled wrong to the sweet blonde girl, to Jacob to Kylie, Casey or the main chicka who let's me bug her as many times and needed. Thanks for being so awesome Star Nursery !! See ya next week! Lol ?

I ordered 17 yards of rock to be delivered in my back yard and unfortunately, the driver scraped my brick wall and ripped my back gate off after dumping the 2nd load of rock. The damage also includes movement of the back wall. He was very apologetic, took photos and sent to his corporate office. I won’t bore you with the details or time wasted trying to get a response from corporate but when I did get a response, it was from their , legal counsel who informed me that they would NOT be paying for the damage. Their counsel gleefully pointed out to me a statement buried in a paragraph at the bottom of my receipt, holding themself harmless from any personal injury or property damage during the delivery of product. I am attaching a copy of my receipt where under my signature in all capital letters, it states that any damage and/or shortages must be reported within 24 hours. Below that Read number two, where they hold themselves harmless for any personal injury or property damage resulting from the delivery. Their counsel told me that that is why I have homeowners insurance. The damage incurred was caused by the driver, but I am expected to pay for it. I will never use or recommend Star Nursery to anyone. I asked to speak to the owner of the company and the claims administrator laughed at me and stated “That’s not gonna happen.” I have emailed the owner of the company twice with no response. I caution anyone who is having product delivered to carefully read your receipt and be prepared to be responsible for any and all damaged caused by the Star Nursery employee during delivery.

Purchased a yard of "super soil" but it is 80% sand. Compacts to almost concrete when dry. Unusable in the garden. Noticeable difference vs bagged standard garden soil. Lost my spring harvest and about to lose my summer. Don't risk it!

Update: Rapitest soil testing results show completely depleted of nitrogen.

Very knowledgeable staff freindly toboot, And after 3 months the sod we got from star is doing great grass does grow in Az i was skeptical because I'm a Utah native. THE 2nd photo is one year later double in size as promised by star nursery

Biugh a tree in spring of 2023. Immediatly this tree was struggling. Called start nursey and they told me to come back to get things that could help the tree. Followed all instructions. The tree continued to die. They explained that as long as we still have the bucket and bulb we could return it and never gave a time frame as it was already past a month. We tried for a year. Called them and they refused to help and said its a 30 day policy.

I have seen a number of references to Star Nursery in this group. I am incredibly frustrated with them. They will not take responsibilty for damaged caused to my brand new car by one of their landscape truck driving on S-93 in AZ. The truck was spewing granite all over the roaway and hit my car at least a dozen times. Multiple chips in the windsheild and paint chips. I tried calling the local office to get them to tell the guy to get off the road -- I wasn't the only one being pelted. I was referred to their corporate office. The office mgr took all the information and said she would send the info to the appropriate people. Their response was to have their lawyer send me a letter denying all responsiblity and telling me not to contact them again. I have photos and videos and licence number of truck and now have to pursue legal action to get them to take responsibility. I don't want to make an insurance claim on my policy..I have to pay a deductible and it impacts my furture rates. Why can't business owners be responsible for their accidents. I hope you take this into consideration next time you go there--because they try to cheat people by threatening them with lawyer letters.
