My wife and I visited for our first time. Very impressive beer selection! I had the Justice Haze IPA and Alibi IPA. Both were Awesome!!

Greeted by owner as we entered through rear entrance. Place was very busy. Many great appetizer, entree and desert offerings. Food was prepared nicely, served promptly and tasted great. Recommend the cudighi. Several beers on tap. All were very tasty. Server and another owner were very friendly and spoke with us about their food and history. Prices reasonable. Parking on street or in lots behind.

Love the atmosphere! We have tried lots of food off the menu and drinks off the tap, all of which are amazing. Barrister uses mostly local, Michigan based suppliers. Super chill place to dine.

Hubby & I stopped in on a Friday night. The place was packed. Only available seating was at the bar so that's where we plopped. No complaints though & we would sit at the bar again. Atmosphere was awesome. Food absolutely delicious.
We started out with their pretzel bites & their homemade beer cheese. They were so yummy! Hubby had a smoked burger with their homemade fries & said the burger had great flavor & we both enjoyed the fries. I had their pulled pork tacos. One of each kind & I would order those again in a heartbeat! We both drank water. I'm not a beer person but will try one of their sweet wines next time. Can't wait to go back with my brother & dad in tow as they'll enjoy the beer & food too!

Wonderful new brewery! Guilty of being amazing, objections are overruled. 🤣 We walked to the back table...so we can say we "passed the bar". 🤣

Seruously, though. The food is obviously fresh, and the quality is top-notch. The beer, the star of the show, was also spot on.

My hard Paw Paw cider was delicious, as were my tacos. They are making the shells homemade. You can order them by the single if you just want a nibble. The flatbread pizzas looked amazing too. The food wait was a little long. We will give them a bit before heading back. But we will be heading back.
