Fun place with an easy going atmosphere. The sandwiches are all good and the burgers are great. The food came out exactly as we wanted. Service is a little lack luster but it’s off season and the pace is slower.

The food is good and came out nice and hot. Inside is nice and comfortable, spacious, modern vibe decor. Waitress was friendly and sweet. Menu has a good variety of options.
The Burton cream cheese dessert was bit dry, next time we will ask for extra glaze.

Simply blown away by the outstanding service and delicious food. We had heard good things about The Foundry but hadn't made our way over to Elk Rapids in a while. The old fashioned was amazing and the chicken and waffles were some of the best I've ever had. My only regret was not trying this restaurant sooner. We will definitely be back, this is a new favorite of ours.

Appetizers took forever to come out. Foundry Mac was warm at best and tasted terrible. I’ve had this before and it was good. Both daughters thought the burgers were average at best. Expect much better for what they charge. Establishment is very loud with poor sound absorption.

No greeting walking past from any of the 4 staff I passed walking in. Just looked at me. Waited about a minute at the host stand for a host that made us feel not welcomed. Once sat, our server was AMAZING and very hospitable. Seemed like she was the only front of house staff with a sense of urgency). Saw a couple servers(?) just sitting chatting on their phones. Burger was very bland with little to no seasoning. Burger came out very pink. Carmie onions pretty good, I subbed them out for the regular. Fries could’ve been amazing if there was more seasoning.

Very low quality for the price of everything on the menu. The green specks on the burger are supposed to be jalapeños, the burger doesn’t even fill out the bun, and sweet potato fries were cold. Had to return the foundry Mac because it was extremely dry and did not include half of what was written in the menu’s description. We never received refills once while dining. 20$ for chicken and waffles which include 1 small piece of chicken and 2 waffles. Ordered an extra chicken patty for the chicken and waffles to end up receiving a different kind of chicken that came with the meal. Definitely will not return, think twice before giving this place a try.

We ate here for the first time tonight on one of our many visits to the area. I wish we had known about this before! It was exquisite. We had the Fuji Apple Pork Ribeye, which was delicious—an excellent creation by the chef/chefs. The restaurant has a great vibe and decor. The service was exceptional. You left with a smile, not just because your meal and service were fantastic. The vibe leaves you smiling and planning your next visit. Which I've decided will be the day after tomorrow. I glanced at the neighboring diners' meals, and they looked just as delicious as ours, and they were silent as soon as their meals arrived. That told me a lot. If the food were mediocre they would have still been talking. It was all about the food.

Came here with my brother and son for a quick bite, our server was very nice but I think she misunderstood that my kid wanted a small mac and cheese, not a gigantic adult entree mac. I asked for a manager and he replaced the food immediately, he took it off the bill and even boxed it up for us. I got the burger and fries they were awesome. Gotta say it was delicious even out of the microwave. I'll definitely come back and order it for myself next time!
