Had Hirshman's Gas when Forward bought them. I've had no interruptions in service at all. The auto-fill plan works great, as they come out with usually plenty of time to spare to top off the tank. They leave the bill in the door, and we can easily pay it online. They are careful to not leave trenches and divots in our yard with the trucks, using an extra long hose instead. And most of the time, we don't even notice they're here unless the dogs start barking.

And really, what more can you ask? If they're doing their job right, like so many other essential jobs, you don't have to think about them much.

Would recommend to whoever has need it propane, and would suggest the auto-fill to anyone who doesn't want to micromanage their fuel situation. And I, a very lazy and forgetful man, can appreciate that.

Would give negative stars if I could. First time we had them fill out tank they forgot to collect the money and did not let us know that they even filled the tank. Then when we called to have the money picked up they said they couldn't send the driver back just to collect the money that we would need to send it in the mail or drop it off. The next time we called to get the tank filled they said it would be 1-5 business days and asked if someone would be home? I said I don't know if someone will be home for the next 1-5 days and asked if they could give me a more specific time to make arrangements. They said no I could call after 4 to see if we were on the list for the next day and when I called to see they said they wouldn't know until the next morning. They do not call when they are on their way or to inform you that they have been there. Even though theirwebsite says they call customers. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Very bad customer service.

Terrible service. They call and setup a 10am appointment a week earlier. 10 am on the appointment day rolls around and no one is here. Call them at 10:20 and apparently he's running late and wont be here until 12. Asked why no one bothered to call and Renee says she didn't have the information he was running late, but yet a minute earlier was telling me how he was late on one job and still had another. Seems like it would be common courtesy to tell customers a scheduled time has changed. Not sure I care for this new company (Forward) that purchased our old propane company.

As soon as we call for a refill they consistently come right out. Great job all the time !
