I hadn't been here in a few years and grew up around the corner in the 90s. Louie knew my family and I for years. I still attended college not too far and would occasionally stop in when I could, still not close to college but it was worth the drive every time. When I was out of college it was less often and it had been a few years because it's an hour away from my house.

I just discovered today that Louie sold the business a couple years back. I ordered the garlic bread and pizza sauce. I've never had rancid pizza sauce before but it was awful. We threw them both out right away. They definitely try to recreate Louie's original garlic sticks but it is not the same. I'm very glad i didn't get a pizza based on this interaction alone.

It's sad that the last tether of what I loved about my old hood growing up really is gone. It's sad they kept his name because it's false advertising for which was once the greatest pizza and pizza owner there was. I'm sure that was the plan because he was Louie and that used to mean a lot in Redford way back.

I really hope Louie and his family are doing okay. His pizzeria was some of the best memories of my life. Now they're only memories and this imitation is nothing but that.

Your average neighborhood pizzeria, the food is decent but omg what have they done to the prices in there! As expensive as Jet's & Buddy's.......I miss Louie, Great man

New owners. I saw they had a 20 piece 🍤 deal at a reasonable price. I was skeptical about trying. Let me end your fears. Fire 🔥. Perfect. 💯. Hasann had great customer service. He told me I'll be back tomorrow. Now I see y. Perfect. No need to travel to the danger zone anymore for good shrimp.

I used to always eat louies when my mom was still alive. I decided to go get pizza yesterday to have a familiar taste to remind me of her. Its been years since Ive gone. What happened Louie sold the place ? He knew everyone. I know he would have remembered my Moms last name too. The pizza wasnt that good. I was so sad. I wont be back since Louie is gone.
