We took some friends from Hawaii to visit this winery and had a very nice visit. They offer free wine tasting and the employees are very nice and knowledgeable about all of their wines. They have some nice gifts that I haven't seen anywhere else.
While we were there, the staff were preparing the outdoor seating area for a wedding reception for the next day. They have outdoor heaters and stone heat pit in case the weather is a bit cooler. There is also a cute stone waterfall. We had a very nice time!

Excellent wine tasting with cheese/cracker, chutney, and chocolate pairings. A lot of interesting fruit wines to try, with some dry varieties! We even found a white wine we liked, which is rare for us. Helen was super nice and fun to talk to. The outdoor area was lovely and I'm sure would be a great place to enjoy some wine if it hadnt been cold and rainy.

Helen was very nice and welcoming on a Sunday afternoon. Wine was very good; my wife and I bought 6 bottles! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stock up here again.

We were given a nice bottle of Stoney Acres pear wine for our anniversary. We were looking forward to the wine providing that certain sparkle needed when one is above 50 years old. Having a lovely bottle of wine, we did not acquire any other alcoholic beverages. All I can say is: our anniversary good times failed. We couldn't get the cork out. I'm not kidding you. The cheap plastic cork laughed at the corkscrew. We tried wood screws, scissors, knives, and finally a Ryobi drill, but they all failed to dislodge the demonized cork. We went alcohol free for our precious event. I brought the bottle home to remind me that there are some things bigger than myself. Next anniversary, I think I will buy a cheap bottle of wine with a screw off lid. It may not taste good, but at least I can have some of it without risking running a pair of scissors through my arm. Stoney Acres .... not recommended!

Don't be intimidated by it's pole barn look. While this is clearly the home of the owners they were friendly and they had some unique flavors. It's worth a stop after you get past the initial awkwardness.

Took family there. Wine tasted good there.
Bought a bottle of the same wine didn't taste anything like it did there, was even kinda nasty.
Was disappointed.
