I ran out of gas once at the exit and they help me out big time. Always great customer service here awesome group at christensens. From top to bottom they have one of the largest an best selection of plants trees an shrubs. Love this nursery you guys are the best in the business.

The most helpful staff of any supply house that we visit. Plants are always top quality and availability is decent. The plant people have good ideas for substitutes. Their hardscape yard is clean and organized and the people that work there are willing to help. They even thought to call me when an item I was interested in came back in stock!

VERY RUDE PERSON, the tall, arrogant guy. I called today (072717), talked to Kevin, asked if they had perennials for a small house I bought next door. He said YES, the best around. I told him I would drive out. 45 minute drive each way. Then when I get there, this tall condescending, arrogant person told me “CONTRACTORS ONLY”. I said I called and talked to Kevin, he said NOTHING about only contractors. He said “you should have reviewed our website!” I told him I just got the number from Google, not their website AND I CALLED!!! The guy Kevin should have told me CONTRACTORS ONLY. Tall guy tried to blame everything on me. I drove 45 minutes each way, and then got blamed for it? Then his SARCASTIC “have a good day comment” when I left, of which I replied “not you” as he laughed, as did the other employees. Yes, I called him the south end of a northbound donkey (I should have maintained more class since he had none). VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. If you have other choices, use them.

I drove 45 minutes here last week from Royal Oak and was prepared to spend about $2500 on landscaping and hardscape supplies. I asked about a few specific plants and was told the price was $120. I know I can get them at another store for $60($57 turns out), so I declined as I needed 25 of them ($1700 price difference). They immediately turned very rude and told me 'this is why we don't like dealing with home contractors, all you guys care about is the price. Sorry, but that's my job. I can't just afford to eat $1700 in profit loss so your boss can take another vacation.
I even had the 45 year old 'plant picker' ask me 'how would you like it if we came to you and only offered you half the amount for your house?' I said if there was a house down the street identical to mine for half the price, I would tell you that you were an idiot to buy mine over it. Before he realized how stupid his comment was, I told them 'Maybe it would be best if I bought my plants somewhere else'. They obliged and I left off to the nursery down the street.
You would think the story would end here, but it turns out that before our conversation had turned sour, I had mentioned that I had a friend that ran the landscaping crews for one of the biggest landscaping companies in Plymouth, and he had told me to come in here. Well, I got a text about an hour and a half later from said friend that these employees at Christensen's actually had the balls to call over to my buddy's company and try and complain.
Attn Christensen's staff: I got all my plants from Randazzo's for $2000 less than what you wanted me to pay, and balked when I said I would go somewhere else that actually has fair pricing. I met with the owner when I went and told him the whole story. He laughed, then apologized and gave me an additional 10% off on top of the already $2000 lower price tag for having such a rough time with you guys. Guess where I'll be shopping next time.
