I absolutely love shopping at village fresh marketplace in perry! ! The store is always spotless, well-organized, and fully stocked with everything I need—from fresh produce and quality meats to everyday essentials and specialty items. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about customer satisfaction. I’m especially impressed with their commitment to freshness and local products.

The checkout process is smooth and efficient, and I appreciate the self-checkout options for when I’m in a hurry. Their weekly deals and loyalty program are just the cherry on top. Shopping here makes my life easier and more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I went in to the Village Fresh Marketplace to purchase a bottle of Witches Brew wine that was pictured in an advertisement sent from the business to our address as being $7.49. Upon checking out, I realized that I was charged full price for the bottle at $10.69. I noticed this error before I left the store. I went back the register and pointed out on both the advertisement and the shelf where I got the wine from that the wine was advertised as being on sale. The Witches Brew original wine was pictured in both places. The cashier called the manager, Michael, to the register. I pointed out the discrepancy in price between what I was charged vs. what I paid and showed him the advertisement that was sent to my home and the location on the shelf as well. He said “are you sure it’s included in the sale?” I said “yes, it’s pictured here on the advertisement and on the shelf.” He pointed to the ad and said “it says ‘select varieties only’.” I said “I understand that, but it’s pictured in the ad.” He essentially said that the picture in the ad isn’t specific and there’s too many products to specify what is included in the ad. He said “all stores do this.” I clarified “so even though it’s pictured in the ad, it’s still not included?” He said “yes.” I asked “how are you supposed to know what is included in the sale?” He said you’d have to find a staff person to have them price check it for you. I said “well I’d like to return it then” which he did. I also returned the rest of my order and will not be back to this store. What this store did is against state law.

Lydia is the nicest person I have ever met. I bought a whole ribeye and they cut it just the way I wanted! Very professional and courteous. Make sure you say hi to Lydia! She will be happy to talk to you about all her grocery store knowledge!

This place is incredible, do yourself a favor and give it a shot - you won’t be disappointed! The new owners have went to great lengths to bring a decent, high quality, affordable establishment to a small town that desperately needed a local source of fresh foods. THANK YOU!!!

Absolutely love this store. Great fresh meat case, produce, deli. Store is very clean and Associates are helpful and friendly. Much prefer Village Fresh Marketplace over larger grocery chain stores.

As someone who worked in the grocery business for over 14 years, at times I find myself overly critical when I see obvious signs of neglect and poor customer service within a store. I do what I can to stay away from the big corporate chains, but at times I just can’t pass up the lower prices that they sometimes offer. Village Fresh in Perry took care of that for me. In addition to the now competitive pricing (new ownership, thanks Mike) and clean environment of this store, I sense that the employees actually care as their positive attitude and approach towards customer service are things I haven’t felt in a long time.
