My agents name is Kristy Bennet, while I cannot recommend this company, my agent has been very friendly and professional. My grievances are not all from her own actions, though some are. I added my partner to my plan and at first, all seemed well, including the initial rate increase. However, my rate increased AGAIN after the first month by over $150 due to these changes. I inquired about reversing the changes and was given steps to take, I performed the required tasks within the week. At this time, my partner sought out and started his own insurance policy through a different company. My paperwork was then denied due to the fact that I live with my partner. I was not notified of the denial by any means - email, the app nor my agent. I then received a bill for the same amount, after the 2x increase. Only after inquiring about my rate NOT decreasing, was I informed of the denial. I was then told that the denial would be a continuing issue as long as I live with my partner. They will not take him off the policy as long as he is living in the home, my partner is not a minor so this should be illegal, if I’m not mistaken. After being informed of the continuing issue, I asked my agent to cancel the policy altogether so that I could seek out other options. My agent said she would do as I asked. At this time I started a new policy with Progressive insurance. We are now a month past that point and I still have an active policy with this company. I have removed all forms of payment from the account, so as not to be falsely charged.

This was my go to insurance agency until Ginger Fate left to open her own agency in Clare. Then I quickly realized it was actually Ginger managing my policy and taking such good care of me. I switched as fast as I could. Life is good again.
