So, I'd be lying if I said the building/rooms were in great shape. This hotel is BADLY in need of a renovation and probably has one scheduled soon enough.

That said, the staff here are amazing!!! We would stay again simply for the mother/daughter GM/Front Desk Manager tag-team that worked tirelessly during Hurricane Milton to hold things down. And the maintenance tech who ran out into the storm and helped move cars and keep them from flooding....that guy deserves a raise!!!

While it's not my business, I sure hope the owners and/or management company are aware of the staff they have there, and start giving them the tools they need to be successful. Unfortunately, it's very hard for hotels like these to turn a profit nowadays. (Used to be much easier) So who knows what's in store for the property. The staff however, deserve advancement or recognition for sure. Thank you folks!

I traveled from out of town to assist with hurricane relief efforts. Upon my arrival at the hotel, I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole, who immediately reassured me that the hotel was a safe place to stay. She also assured me that, in the event of a power outage, she would provide additional amenities to ensure my comfort. Throughout my stay, I felt completely at ease, thanks to her support.

Nicole was the most helpful individual I encountered at this hotel. I would readily recommend her to a supervisor for a managerial position, as I believe she possesses the qualities necessary for such a role. Overall, Nicole exemplifies not only courtesy but also a high level of professionalism.

Professional/friendly staff despite having to put up with so many people affected by power outages after Hurricane Melvin. Room was comfortable (but note they do not have usb charging ports, so be sure to bring plug in charger). Young man at front desk (Meldin? probably confusing with storm name) lent me plug in charger in the morning. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, hash browns, eggs, muffins, bagels, waffles, cereal, juice. Minimal noise from highway. Rooms were clean, larger than most. Bed and pillows comfortable. Would recommend.

The front desk attendant was very nice. The breakfast was good. Water and cookies were available for guests in the waiting area. The rooms need updated especially the bathrooms. On our last night our smoke detector started chirping for most of the night. They did add points to our Marriott account for the inconvenience.

This place was awful, I mean my bed!! I was sleeping on the springs, there were bugs in the room. The room was so outdated Furniture everything the TV was from 1990 they didn't have a microwave or coffee pot and I stayed for 5 days. I will never ever stay at the dump again

Unfortunately, I can't say too many great things about my stay.
I had driven for some time and once entering, the desk person couldn't find my reservation ?
She was able to search both locations, which is also confusing. Eventually, she was able to provide a key.

To my inconvenience:
The elevator wasn't working so I had to take the stairs.
My key card KEPT deactivating everytime I left my room. It was stated this was due to their system being older. Because of this I couldn't enter from the side causing me to get rained on and having to constantly go to the front desk.
I was never able to locate the ice machine.
The TV in my room didn't work.
When I went to the desk to request a toothbrush, they had to go to the other hotel to fulfill this request.

The only good things I can say is it's location and they have breakfast, but I didn't try it.

Booked with my employees for a business trip and I’m so disappointed. They charged the wrong card and gave me a very hard time about fixing their mistake when I discovered the charge on my personal account. The young lady at the front desk acted like she didn’t have a clue what she’s doing and was totally rude. My employees complained that rooms had wet floors and smelled like urine. We won’t be staying at this hotel again. Horrible experience.
