The younger gentleman running the stand on Saturday was so nice and helpful… but I cannot seem to find one decent tasting peach in the entire basket we bought. $12 worth of mealy, quite tasteless fruit. Zucchini squash was okay, some bad spots to cut out, and the blueberries had decent flavor, but were over-ripe and getting pretty mushy.

Despite the good reviews, ours wasn't so good. We stopped for fresh strawberries and I noticed they some small watermelons for $6!! A bit overpriced I think. My wife picked out a quart of strawberries for $5. We put them in the fridge to use the next day, and half of them were rotted. Never go back again. We went to Family Fare and bought some nice big berries which were much better. We try to support local business as much as possible, but the quality should be as good as or better than the larger stores.

The beefsteak tomatoes that I got there were amazing!!!!! They were the best I'd seen all year. And the price was very reasonable and the quality was exceptional. I will go back there in a heartbeat.

Worst sweetcorn I've ever had!!
Picked too early ... wasn't ripe. One would think an experienced fruit/vegetable grower would know when his/her crop is ready.
