I’m a regular at serendipity. And the staff has always been phenomenal, but recently I fell and broke my neck and because of that I can’t drive. So my husband goes and get’s me my drink (which they know by heart). And they staff is so great there that they write me notes on my coffee to chear me up. And don’t get me started about Abbey who manages the place. That woman is probably the nicest person I have ever met and has a smile that can light up a building. She knows her stuff and handles everything with perfection. It’s an all around lovely store. With beautiful thing’s to buy. So, bottom line is if you’re looking for the perfect gift and a place to get some coffee and a pastry or baked good’s THIS is the place! 😁

As a former Biggby lover I can say that without a doubt Serendipity is the best coffee place in our little town. So so good. The ladies that work here are so kind and welcoming and are always happy to see my daughter Moxie. The coffee is always good and the same EVERY time. Consistency is so important when you find a drink you love and it’s made the same the next time you get it. Such a special place for us and it’s now a part of our daily walk downtown. I tell everyone about, my husband and I are obsessed!!

I know it’s cliche but it’s a one of a kind place. Food, pastries, gifts, kitchen accessories, and gourmet packaged food. Set in the Victorian style town of marshal this place stands out and is designed in a more modern style that gels with the traditional. The coffee was fantastic and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Things I LOVE about this shop:
• The drinks. Even if you don't like coffee, you can find something you like! Frozen drinks, smoothies, teas (hot or iced) and of course, coffee of all varieties.
• The muffins! They are made fresh! Soft and moist on the inside, but a tiny bit of a crisp on the outside. So delicious.
• The store has so many things to offer, from blankets, to soaps, to loose leaf teas, etc.
• Such a welcoming little store, in general! We are always greeted with a friendly demeanor and the batistas are always more than willing to make a recommendation.
• A cute sitting area to enjoy your coffee/muffin and people watch.
• The bathroom is one of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a public place in a while. Not to mention, very cute!

I prefer this shop to most coffee shops! It's very cute with lots to shop for while waiting for your drink to be made. Definitely a repeat store for me!

I come for the beans! I definitely recommend the Mackinac Fudge. My favorite drink they serve is the s'mores latte. You need a coffee while you shop for coffee. They also sell gifts and trinkets.

i’ve only gone a few times but the coffee is always consistent! i recommend the vanilla oat latte with brown sugar boba it is amazing! they aren’t to expensive and they even sell hand made soap AND soap holder bag things! i love the coffee soap with coffee grounds! love love love this place i need to go more!

Cute place for gifts and a sweet drink. My son and daughter love getting a smoothie from serendipity on a hot day. Same local baristas so I assume it’s a good place to work so a plus to me. I also appreciate that they carry South Bend Chocolates - as that’s my hometown!
