If this were my hometown grocery store I would be ecstatic. This place was absolutely fantastic. This is as good as any of the players in the grocery store game here in the South. Their deli and produce were really good. I had my first pasty here and they crank them out. I pulled one off a mountain of pastys. We got a sandwich and went across the street and ate in the park overlooking the water. It truly doesn't get any better than that!

Great store! Clean and very helpful and great selection! Everyone is so helpful and you ask where anything is at and each time, they know exactly where the item is and even either take me there or double check to make sure I found it.

Welcome to Pure Michigan! Convenient location. Store is well stocked and maintained. Aisles are easy to get around. Deli and Cafe. Staff was friendly and helpful. McDonald's is next door. Highly recommend! "Be a Beacon of light so others can find their way. Safe and happy travels!" Be'Be'

It isn't often that you have an amazing experience at a grocery store. But today that's what happened when we met Jon, a store employee of 20 years. I was puzzled about the Michigan exchange for deposits and where that's handled... Jon was.
Gracious enough to share enough information between the wife and I that we We're able to participate effectively.... Well done Jack and Thanks for bringing him into the store!

I am extremely disappointed with the quality and pricing at Jack's Fresh Market. The produce is consistently overpriced and often spoils by the next day. It is frustrating to have to meticulously search for items that are not already moldy. As the only grocery store in town, it's disheartening to see such high prices and low quality, especially for those of us who cannot afford to drive to Escanaba regularly for better options. It is clear that Jack's can afford to lower prices and improve the quality of their produce.

Very nice grocery store with a great selection of everything. The bakery and deli are nice, we enjoyed the pasties. The staff was very friendly, only down side was that they bagged our food with the eggs at the bottom of the bag with canned food on top (?).

Stopped here while visiting Manistique. Picked up a dessert called "Penguins." Never heard of them before. I have to say that they were delicious. Very friendly staff. I'd totally recommend this place.
