My boyfriend and I had a great time here! We arrived around 5pm on a Monday and it wasn’t too busy yet. We were seated immediately and our drinks and food were ready promptly. It was soo delicious!! I’m not a beer drinker, yet I loved the mead! The vibes were immaculate and on Mondays they have live music and a vendor area with really cool art!

We have been coming to St Ambrose for a lot of years. The atmosphere is fantastic. Large outdoor seating area, often with live music on the weekends. They are dog friendly. There are games, gardens and scenic views all over the place. The drinks are fantastic. Those are the good things.

Unfortunately over the last few years the service has gone downhill quickly. I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue, or just pure lack of organization, but plan on waiting quite a while when you're there. It is a very large yard with lots of seats available, and it seems that people just get lost in the shuffle there. Our last stop we waited over 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, and this has become the normal expectation for the last couple years. You also have a fair chance of getting somewhat rude service. This is not always the case, and some of the servers are fantastic, but don't be surprised to get a bit of attitude from the staff while you're there. We attempted to get a servers attention after waiting 20 minutes, but we're quickly told we were not in their section. After exclaiming we've been there for 20 minutes, they reluctantly helped us.

While we will most likely return, because of the drinks and the atmosphere, St Ambrose has fallen far from a must stop location for us. Aside from the pizza, which was better when it was served out of the truck, the food is lackluster, and will most likely leave you disappointed. Hopefully they can figure things out, because having people sit for 15-20 minutes without as much as saying hi is not acceptable.

This place is really beautiful and brings it with food and drink. We had the hot honey pizza and a selection of meads, it was all freaking amazing.

Update: Meads are so freaking good and not a lot of places have them. This place has got them and they're so good.

This place has really come a long way in the last couple of years. When we first started coming here, it was just a bar with a tasting flight. Now there is a great restaurant attached, a beer menu, and a fabulous outdoor space. We loved the atmosphere that we went twice in one week. The mead is fun to try but the food is really good too. Most importantly for us, there are several games and places for the kids to be entertained without bothering others.

Excellent experience at St. Ambrose Cellars! We ordered several items and burgers and pizza were solid choices! Service was kind and drink orders were quick. Food orders took a little long but was worth the wait - nothing fancy just quality ingredients. The kitchen closes 1hr prior so plan ahead. Live music in the barn. Outdoor seating was perfect for a large party of 10. We arrived early and sat at picnic tables near boccee ball/game area [would recommend for kids].

I had a very wonderful experience here a couple weeks ago. I came here with my family after I got married to my husband and being a gay couple I am always a little worried about places I go when back home in Michigan.

I love that from the first phone call, to the in person interactions, I felt like I was at home and welcomed. It was such a pleasant experience and one I will remember for a long time.
Our waitress was so delightful, I wish I could remember her name but she was in a high waisted longer denim skirt, pink shirt tucked into it, bleach blonde hair. She was giving me 90’s glam fashion and I was living for it. She was my favorite, she had such a lovely attitude and easy to talk to and a great salesperson when it comes to those adult frozen drinks with wine toppers. I do recommend them!

Before we left we were given samples to try of some of your beverages and then we were gifted with a bottle of the one we liked and a container of honey and a couple stickers. This was very thoughtful and we loved the gift. Thank you so much for everything, you really helped a make an already special day even more special.

Went on a Wednesday at 7:30. After a10 minute wait we were seated. The waitress came over for drink orders and told us it would take over an hour for food. It would have been nice to know that when we arrived. 90 minutes later our food arrived and my pizza was horribly burnt. They didn’t charge for the pizza and took a whopping 10% off of our bill. Very bad experience.

We’ve been here multiple times & always enjoy ourselves. The atmosphere is greatest! The entertainment they have in the barn makes up for the slower service & mediocre food. We frequently return, however, as the ambience of the farm & entertainment is key. Love the bees!!!
