A hidden gem. The signs outside don't do it justice. I went to the coffee shop. Very good quality lattes. They also have ice cream. The store has Michigan made items. Everything from kitchen & pantry items to clothing, stickers, books, and even yooperlite stones.

The Rooted is a really wonderful and classic Michigan small business. The store is filled with all kinds of Michigan themed items, much of it hand crafted in-State. They have a super ice cream and coffee bar, with friendly staff. Very nice place to visit, well worth the time amd effort to get there. They are right next door to "The Iron Skillet", which is a 'must stop' place to eat.

Cool place, I just came to drop a UPS package off, but there's a coffee shop and lots of local goodies and clothing. Will be back to take a better look!

Driving north on 131, you'll be disheartened if you are a coffee lover. Until you come here. All of their coffees are ground before being poured over. We had the 45th parallel blend, and it was absolutely delicious. Mixed with some ice cream and raspberry cream blueberry cheesecake muffin in their cozy little eating area was a treat.

There are also a lot of creative Michigan inspired items. If you have kids, you'll want to know that a few of them are not family friendly.

Very awesome place nicely set up organized and clean and friendly staff. I bought a sticker there and sad to say when I got gas to head home I accidentally tossed it in the trash so I was quite sad since I was so far from home and couldn't go back to find it. But hopefully they still have it when I go back. $4 in the trash shoot.

While they offer a lot of beautiful merchandise the prices are sky high. We can afford to spend the money on a sweatshirt and tshirt, but seriously, the prices should be at least 25% less. We walked out without buying a thing because of the pricing (principle of it). I believe people would make a purchase or buy more if it was more reasonable. I hate to knock a small business. Consider offering better pricing and overall sales should improve. Offering more sales and clearance would help as well.

What a great little Michigan store. It has a little of everything from hats and hoodies to ice creams and coffees to pierogies, pasties, ghost stories, fudge, and all things michigan.
