Amazing Dining Experience at Audie's Restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the pleasure of dining at Audie's Restaurant during my visit to Mackinaw City, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.

The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was prepared to perfection. We started with the fresh, flavorful salad, followed by a creamy and rich Alfredo pasta that was a true delight. The fried fish was another highlight, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. We also tried their French toast, which was wonderfully fluffy and perfectly golden, a great option for anyone craving comfort food.

The dessert was the cherry on top, with their homemade pies being the perfect sweet end to a great meal. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and the entire experience was well worth every penny.

If you're in Mackinaw City, I highly recommend Audie's Restaurant for a memorable dining experience. Excellent food, great service, and a charming ambiance—definitely deserving of 5 stars!

Caaren was phenomenal. She gave us excellent service and was attentive. My husband has eaten here before, however fist time for me. I will be returning. They were slammed and despite that the food was amazing. The restaurant was clean and great service. Thanks Caaren for the great experience. You need a raise!

The food here was amazing. We came in around 8pm on a Sunday night after visiting Mackinac island all weekend.

We were seated as soon as we walked in. Not sure what I said or what we did, but our waitress was extremely cold to us the entire night, basically tried to rush us out of there. I was going to get dessert after our dinner and expected her to ask us if we wanted anything else. Instead we just got the check. Other tables had to ask for their check and we just had ours handed to us when we finished dinner.

The food however was really good and they had a good selection of drinks. I’m not sure if we had the waitress on a bad night or something, but the service could be hit or miss depending on who you got. Don’t think I’d come back here again but if you just want to come for the food I’d recommend it.

Very homey feeling, old school diner. View of the Mackinac Bridge from the front parking and local authors signed books for sale in the front. Food was amazing, my son's 10th birthday breakfast and he said it was the best pancake, hot cocoa, and jam he's ever had from a restaurant. She got a sundae for him (AND his 2 siblings) with a happy birthday sing from the whole place. Amazing memories for my birthday boy and just made his whole 5 hour road trip so much brighter! Great job Audie's! The whole family cleared their plates and want to come back soon.

We stumbled on this place on our way up to the UP but made sure to plan it into our way back. It became a fast favorite! The whitefish is amazing and the maple sundae is a don’t miss!!

I give the food a 2 because the hot Turkey sandwich was not good at all! It was not real Turkey and the homemade white bread tasted very weird and they topped it with extra sage or parsley flakes idk but whatever it was was very very strong and ruined the meal! The waitress however did ask me if I liked it and asked if I wanted something els but I didn’t want to bother her so I just ate half and I just paid for the meal but it was not worth the price! The maple Sunday was amazing and I really enjoyed that! Also the garlic toast was really good!

Our lunch at Audie’s was delicious! The white bean and ham soup and beef with home made noodle soup were scrumptious. Everyone enjoyed the lightly fried smelt. The white fish sandwich was perfect to share with pickles and a generous dollop of their homemade tartar sauce. Onion rings and coleslaw as sides were a smart choice. We lingered a bit to view the stunning black and white photographs of the construction of the mighty Mackinac bridge.

Wonderful, quiet diner with great food. I had the bison burger & a strawberry shortcake for dessert, and both were incredible.

Despite not advertising this anywhere, they serve homemade pickles with their burgers — I don't even like pickles but they are delicious! Attention to detail like that makes me believe that a similar amount of attention was paid to the rest of the meal.

Despite having come during the "off-season" for this area, the food came out quick and it seemed there weren't any menu restrictions or anything like that. Places like this remind me what's great about one-off diners like this.
