This is a must GO, Don't care where you are going in the UP. make this a stop. It is worth it..... my wife is from the UP and this is among my favorite stops when we go. NO BETTER JERKY!!! also their whitefish dip is fantastic as well.... get some crackers, let the wife drive for a bit and devour the whitefish dip.

Stopped here to get gas. While pumping, my wife noticed the smokers off to the side. We decided to get a smoked whitefish because why not.

This fish one the best things I’ve tasted, and I regret not stopping on the way back to get more. It’s truly amazing. Gustafson’s is a must try on your UP vacation!

We purchased two smoked salmon filets, they were delicious! Photo doesn’t do it justice, we broke it into pieces. Make sure you stop in lots of amazing goodies!!! Highly recommend. Hubby also purchased some jerky he loved that too!

Common gas station supplies(soda/candy/chips/jerky/beer) their fish and smoked meat does smell great. They have gas, I wouldn't buy much more than a few gallons and only if your empty to get you to the next town as their prices are always higher than what's east or west. I've been past it 5 times and its pretty consistently pricier.

My family has a tradition to stop here whenever in the U.P. They have a wonderful selection of artisan and locally made jams and other sauces. We stop specifically for their delicious smoked meats! Wow, the quality cannot be matched. Their smoked whitefish dip is superb. I can't leave without a pound of their Peppered beef jerky it is the best you can find. The other flavors are great as well but definitely get the Peppered if you aren't sure which to pick. They are always very nice and accommodating here. A gem of the U.P., make the stop!

Bought some popcorn on my way back South after a snowmobile trip, it was stale, it happens I know, but when I stopped back in 4 weeks later they wouldn’t do anything for me because I didn’t have the receipt. Poor customer service, I won’t be shopping here again.
