What's up with the attitude of management & workers here? Passing through so stopped in. Some items cheap, others overpriced. People not friendly here whatsoever. If you hate your job that bad go find another one! Just stay out of customer service because nobody here seems to get it. Management staff has an apparent attitude & the poor attitudes trickle down to the employees. It's very apparent at this store. 15 min in & out turned into 45 min because of Lackluster service. Pull your heads out! I'd never stop back here again. KMA

I stop in to Valu Land for a few things about once a week. Not overly impressed with the customer service. Today I was checking out with James. I said to him "how are you tonight, sir?". I got no reply, and he didn't say a single word to me, even after I was finished. He has never been very friendly towards me any time I have visited. Otherwise, they have a decent selection of goods, and it is convenient for me to pick up a few things on my way home from work.

It's a great little food store .. Great prices. Nice friendly workers just an easy place for old guy like me I can park walking shop walk out and still not to the milk all way in back at Meijer .. saves me zillion steps ... I will shop there often

I purchased $47.00 in groceries for Thanksgiving dinner and forgot to buy the turkey. I called them as soon as I got home and asked if I could still buy the turkey at .48 cents a pound. That is the special price with a $20.00 purchase. They said NO because their system is not set up that way. That I would have to spend another $20.00 if I want to buy it at .48 a pound.

Very unethical.

Consistently dismal customer service. Unfriendly mgmt & most of the staff. Had a very poor cut of meat that was at least 30℅ fat. Complained to mgmt next time in & just got a shrug of the shoulders & told we needed to bring the steak back in. Say what? How would we know how lousy the cut of meat was unless we cooked it & ate a portion of it? Mgmt made zero effort in even attempting to make it right. None. Offer us a coupon or a discount on our next shopping visit there. We've been regular customers there & it hasn't been because of their customer service. We're done shopping here & will take our business to Meijers or Darrell's Mkt. Meanwhile, mgmt here needs some remedial training on proper customer service & apparently it's well known in the area from others we've talked to.

Very nice store for picking up a few things last minute. I just wish they had fresher produce. Too many times I have purchased produce that looked okay only to find that it was overripe.

Their closing down for good at the ladder end of June 2021. Gonna miss this place, they have 90% of what im looking for. Only reason for a 4 not a 5 star is cos their closing 🙁
