The only place in town that got a second visit from us before we left. The ciders were delicious. The atmosphere is great!!! The igloos looked really cool, but we actually just sat at the bar. But that spicy fried chicken sandwich… that thing will haunt my dreams (in the best way). So glad I ordered it! Seriously the best friend chicken sandwich I’ve had in my life. Insanely juicy and ridiculously crispy. The jalapeño lime slaw—amazing!!!! House made sauce and looked like house made pickles. So messy.. and so worth it. The Cajun fries are great too. Seriously amazing!!!

Enjoying our scenic drive up to see Grand Traverse Lighthouse, and we had heard great things about Hop Lot. We stopped in for a quick cold beer and a snack. Wings were fantastic. Great flavor, perfect amount of sauce and a nice bite. Pickle fries paired perfectly. Huge outdoor space, lots to keep you entertained as well as your entire family.

Easy access, gravel parking though. Servicr is great. I had the shaw ale and by wife had the kamboucha. It was great. The appeal here is the iglue. Super warm and they assign at the payment counter. We came here at 30 degrees and had a wonderful time. Stop by when visiting Sutton Bay. Cheers.

Really cool place with good beer and really cool ambiance. Huge outside area with fire pit and stage for music and outdoor serving areas when in use probably during summer events. Lights strung across the back gives such a nice cozy feel. Very cool place to hang out and meet new people and have good conversation.

We went the day after Christmas in the middle of the afternoon. We had an igloo reservation. We got there 30 minutes early and they were able to seat us early. I had the Mexican lager which was really good. I’m not a big beer drinker and usually drink Corona. You order drinks and food using a QR code. They deliver your beer pretty quick. You are responsible for picking up your own food at a window after they notify you via text. We had the wings and pickle fries. I would go again!

Unbeatable outdoor atmosphere/ beer garden on a nice day. During this visit, the staff seemed friendly and accommodating, but spread very thinly considering the crowd, but their self-service hospitality model seems to help ease this.

Hop Lot’s seasonal brews are always really good, and this visit didn’t disappoint!

Food is amazing. I recommend the chicken sandwich with Cajun fries! Celebrated my birthday here! The first visit to an igloo a couple years ago made me wanna visit again.

Unfortunately the igloos were not as nice as they used to be. Found them to be very dirty and muddy inside. No decorative items in them anymore and no cushions on the furniture. The seats were uncomfortable without cushions. The seats had crumbs and mud on them. Floors in the igloo were wet and muddy

I’ll be back again cause the food was bomb. Hope they update the igloos due to them being popular and make the floors weather proof so they don’t just get soaked and muddy making it hard to clean up. Would love if they felt cleaner.

Our friends and family absolutely adore Hop Lot. We’ve stopped in many times since Hop Lot opened, it has been a pleasure witnessing their growth and successes.
Hop Lot brewery is a must when in TC, offering a delightful experience for beer enthusiasts and foodies alike. With a diverse selection of cold brews and an amazing BBQ food menu, it's a haven for those craving a delicious combination of flavors.
The highlight, undoubtedly, is their expansive beer garden, providing the perfect setting to enjoy a refreshing pint. Hop Lot is great for families with their kids play area and s’mores kits.
