I take my elderly father here a few times a month so he can buy his supplements.
This store is ostensibly a health food / vitamin store has a little bit of everything.
Mainline essential groceries and convenience items for residents within walking distance, a tiny selection of beer, bulk whole bean coffee and a nice selection of teas and of course its core products.

I asked the guy if they had garlic oil and he gave me "ear oil" with too much dominance and confidence in the conversation.
It turns out that their ear oil contains 0 garlic oil.

My husband came into your store last Tuesday to get me apple pectin. My husband explained my stomach empties food into my intestines too early which gives me some unpleasant issues. The guy he spoke with suggested psyllium husk capsules. I can’t tell you how much they have helped me! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Was looking for some oil of oregano, had looked all over for this, but low and behold. I go to Walt's and they have it. Very nice. Smaller store, they have a a variety of everything. The employees were very nice and helpful.

I've been shopping at Walt's for at least 10 years. They have products I want that aren't easy to find at other area stores; supplements, protein shake mixes, personal care items and whole food items. An added service, which I use every year at Christmas, is their fruit and snack baskets. Fresh fruit, nuts and snacks done up beautifully and always received well by the recipients!

Love that there's a nice variety of teas, supplements, essential oils, alternative baking needs and more. Having moved from California, where eating healthy was a bit of a chore in gathering items without breaking the bank, here in Jackson I now know it won't be as difficult as I once thought.

I thank Walt's Health Food Store for being downtown, where it seems devoid of options of markets and specialty shops. It is much appreciated, and I look forward to a long patronage.

I moved to Jackson from Ann Arbor where there's a health food store on every corner ( not literally but there are a lot!). Well Jackson is a health food desert and Walt's is a little oasis in the middle of it. It's nice to be able to drive around the corner again to get the supplements I need versus making a 40 minute trip to AA or Lansing. It doesn't look nice and fancy inside but it serves my needs and the guy who helps me out is very nice. I hope they never close down, Jackson needs them.
