My husband and I recently visited Sandhill Crane Vineyards and enjoyed the most wonderful food and drink. The staff there is outstanding and treat you as if you are family. They always have perfect suggestions for wines you may like to try. We especially loved speaking with Chef Jake who now heads Kitchen Little at Sandhill Crane. His focaccia bread was out of this world, and his cinnamon rolls were absolutely to die for! We can’t wait to go back and try more of his delicious creations.Everyone employee there goes above and beyond for their customers. You will never be disappointed when you visit this very special winery.

This winery has become one of our go tos lately. Amazing wine and incredible atmosphere. Definitely a hidden gem in the area.

The food used to be a big part of why we liked to visit, but we were kind of let down with the recent change. The cheese bread that used to be on the menu was absolutely delicious and although we never ordered them, the sandwiches looked great too. Now, the food is leek potato soup and overpriced cheese boards (and the “crackers” are an additional cost). We came hungry this past weekend, wanting to try the sourdough bread sandwiches and of course order the cheese bread. Not knowing about the menu change (that is our fault, we do not get the newsletter from them), we just were disappointed that the owners took away good food options that we were looking forward to. We did order the leek soup and the cheeseboard and it was just okay, just not something we will order again. I would recommend others to look at the menu prior to visiting as it is a little bit out there, and may not be for everyone.

Needless to say we will just be back for the wine and not the food.

A very nice vineyard. The wine is great. My favorite is the blue skies. They also have a small variety of cider and beer to choose from as well. The charcuterie boards are well out together, and the food is decent. My pizza was actually really good. I wish the panini had a better crust on it. Overall decent food. My only complaint is the pricing on the food. 23$ for the charcuterie and 16$ for my flatbread pizza. The pizza was tasty. The picture below is special they had which is Parmesan sauce with feta cheese, mozzarella, onions, mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Which I did enjoy, however I feel it was a little overpriced for the portion size. 12$ would be more reasonable. They have live music and game nights. I've been here 3 times and have enjoyed myself every time.

Stopped here last Saturday during a road trip and tried nearly all the dry wines ...I enjoyed all of them. I especially recommend the Vignoles and Rose. The area was beautiful and there was plenty of seating. I really enjoyed the original animal paintings for sale inside the building, as well.

In addition to the flights, I ordered the cheesy bread and paid $3 to add bacon. I was surprised when it came out ...it couldn't have been from more than maybe half a slice. There was so little that a few of the slices of bread didn't even have any. The cheesy bread still tasted good, though. I don't know if this is how they always serve it, or if someone just wasn't paying attention when they prepared it. If you plan to order the same, maybe ask them first to clarify how much bacon is supposed to go on top and decide for yourself if it's worth the added money.

I don't usually listen to my dentist when she tells me to do things ("brush your teeth" and boring stuff like that) but she told me to check out Sandhill Crane Winery and I was not disappointed! My Wife, miniature schnauzer, and I came here during their Raspberry Festival and had an absolute great time drinking very high quality wine and mead, eating delicious food, and just looking out the porch at the beautiful farmland this property sits on. We even saw 2 sandhill cranes flying across the field so I think that means we win.
