Very helpful,knowledgeable staff. Don't let the small building front fool ya,these folks have got everything you need at very reasonable rates. As Lifelong members of the community they truly care about your needs,are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you get what you need and that you know how to use it before you leave. If you don't see it, make sure to ask, they've probably got it. Tell em Red sent ya!

My husband picked up a trailer to use for the weekend to move stuff and Tool Time was accommodating, helpful, and very kind. The trailer was in great shape too.

I had rented a carpet cleaner from them at least 6x in the past and never had a problem. Just rented a carpet cleaner again for the weekend plus cleaning soap, I know how the cleaner works from prior rentals. I started to clean my carpets and distributed an entire tank of water before I realized it was hardly sucking anything up. My carpet was soaked. I had to call Classic Carpet Care to extract the water and it was $250 plus the $60 for renting the carpet cleaner. I called Tool Time Rental on Monday to let them know the machine wasn't fully functioning. The man I spoke to was rude, told me the machine was fine when it left the shop. I wasn't looking for a $$$ reimbursement but to inform them it was broken. Even a simple "I'm sorry that happened" would have helped. Poor service for a repeat customer....very unfortunate.

I purchased a 2014 Stealth Trailer from Tool Time in Iron Mountain in Sep of 2014. The staff was pleasant but my $2,000+ purchased was VERY rushed through. I called them a week earlier to inquire about a trailer I saw and the girl on the phone, even though polite, was talking so fast it was hard to understand. I've had similar experiences with them before so I'm not sure why I even went back. When I went to pickup the trailer I had questions about it and the shorter gentleman was very nice/polite BUT he was in such a rush I couldn't ask more than 2 questions! We hooked up the trailer and checked the lights....and I had to drive away with faulty passenger running lights because he didn't take the time to help diagnose the problem! He even told me, "Yeah, I'm a very busy guy." His attitude seemed like, "Well, it's his now and not my problem." He treated me like this when I rented a Ditch Witch last fall. I EVEN PAID CASH MONEY, no checks/credit cards! Again, I have experienced this type of treatment before so I'm the moron to put myself through the ringer yet again.

I should have purchased from Don at the Country Side Lawn & Sport outside of Niagara. I pulled into the outside "gate" of his shop (it's basically a rope) after-hours the day before I purchased from Tool Time. He came outside to meet me, was not pushy like a car salesman, and he took all the time I needed to ask detailed questions. I'm not advertising for Don or Sue BUT just compare the two for yourself and you'll see what I mean. If that doesn't convince you then read this...I called him the same night after meeting him but he didn't answer the phone so I left a message (had another question about the max load). He actually called me back at about 7:45pm (or 1945 for my fellow Veterans) and answered all my questions.

If you are looking for service then don't count on Tool Time. I have nothing against their staff personally and I understand business because I'm a business owner in Iron Mountain too. Even though my trailer is of quality, I will never spend another dime on their rentals or products. Next time, I'm going to spend my money on a quality business. I hope this helps somebody.

Really well made trailers. Labor for small engines & everything they sell. Parts for all. Onsite repairs & engine maintenance.
Super easy access to this business right off US-2 Hwy. Second off-site trailer display lot right off 3 way Hwy junc south of Iron Mountain. A pleasure to work with them.

I had rented a barrel sander to sand my hardwood floors. I was doing the job in Iron River, MI. 40 miles from the rental shop. Well the sander spun a sheer pin 10 min into the sanding. Needless to say I was not happy. I called and told them what happened and ask them if they could send someone to replace this sander rather than me driving 80 mi. round trip to take care of this. They said they didn't have anyone to run one out to me. But they did compromise some and said they would send someone to meet me in Florence Wi. wich was a 60 mi. round trip. I was stuck. I had tenants moving in in a couple days and I had to get the job done. I agreed to meet them in Florence. Tim did bring a new machine to Florence. When I got back the next day to turn in the sander the girl, who was very pleasent thru the hole ordeal, only charged me for the sanding belts I had used. I would rent from them again. Thank You.
