I was glad I stopped in to see what it's like, but probably won't do so again. High prices for the convenience of not having to drive to Superior or Ashland for groceries, and the chip reader required about 7 attempts before it would read my credit card.

They do have fresh produce and a decent selection.

Iron River foods has got what you need! A well stocked store with a good selection of fresh meat and vegetables as well as all of the home/cabin basics you may need! Staff is friendly. Prices reflect the remote location, but I think quite fair for wilderness provisioning

Friendly employees who go above and beyond to be helpful. They will also carry your groceries out to your car! Very adequate inventory for a small town grocery store. Please shop locally!

A small town grocery store that packs a punch! We stopped while staying in a resort near Iron River, and I was able to find everything we needed and more. The checkout was quick and someone was there to carry our bags.

This was the first grocery store we happened to see right off the highway. Friendly staff was helpful as some products were in places I wouldn't have guessed. I'm guessing it was due to the limited floor capacity. Had all the basics though.

Good grocery store...has the majority of the essentials, but nothing elaborate. This is the "safety net" food store for the area. Expect to pay more for fewer choices, but be darn grateful they are in Iron River saving our butts from driving to Ashland and Superior. Please click 👍 if this was helpful.
