Absolutely incredible vacation. We rented the cabin on the lake for 4 nights.
It is simple and unassuming and perfect for a fishing trip. You feel comfortable, like you are at home. It is not too "fancy". It is easy access tot he lake and the bait shop for supplies including bait and tackle and snacks.
Dad is a disabled vet and he was able to easily get on and off the lake as the fish are not more than 5 minutes by sled off shore. Of course you can travel farther in search of more than pike, but for a father son weekend, it was perfect. The staff is very friendly, the guides are cool.
we will be booking both a summer and another winter retreat next year.

We had the best experience with the Lymans staff. We booked 2 ice shanties. The weather wasn’t 100% cooperating when it was our time to fish so the shanties weren’t able to be put out. However, the staff at Lymans bent over backwards for us to be able to ice fish anyway. They had Austin (and Seth) take us out using temporary shanties with heaters etc. The boys set up everything for us and made it an amazing experience for our Florida families.
We highly recommend Lymans. Their staff is amazing! Thank you!

They have everything from fishing/hunting licenses and bait to off road stickers for golf carts and orv's. Everything you need for fishing etc. They even have beer. Always friendly and helpful.
