I’ve heard of bankers’ hours, but not bankers’ lunch breaks. Word to the wise, you should make an appointment to set up a business account. I stopped by two branches to set up an account. I was told at both branches that the people who can help me were at lunch. It wasn’t t convenient for me to wait half an hour for someone to return from break. Management: Have you considered staggering breaks so the positions are covered?

Late review, couple of months ago my husband and I went in to open an account. The building seemed empty little to no customers and at least 4 tellers. Waited more than 2 hours for cards to print , seemed like everyone of the tellers took a swing at trying to fix the printer and eventually someone (maybe the manager who spent the whole time talking to someone and never assisted) told us to go home they would give us a call when they are ready. Never called back, still waiting! My husband went to a different location to get his card printed but I'm still waiting on mine! Probably try a different location maybe someone will care enough to call back, good luck!

I hate the new name. It was so stupid to change the name because you have a branch at Aviano. You wasted millions of members money without asking members if they want a new name. Nobody has asked me if I’m from global but numerous people have asked if I was from Alaska. Change the name back to Alaska USA FCU!

I called ahead to see if I can cash a check without an account and was told on the phone that they could. As soon as I arrived they told me they could not complete my transaction because the check was from another bank. They need to work on their knowledge and better inform the customer before waisting their time.

Global just took over ak federal credit union. So far so good. I stayed because the front desk individuals stayed! They have always been so knowledgeable friendly and that is easy to find !

We’ve been with AKUSA for 20 years. Always great service and though we don’t have a local branch here in TN, we’ve stayed. Our only issue these days is with the app and always having to have a code sent to us before we can log in. It extremely inconvenient and the only thing we’ve had issues with.

We have tried other financial institutions over the years, but have found that the best service is with AKUSA. I have been a member since the mid-80's and expect to stay a member until I expire. My wife likes the service we receive and I'm sure she will continue once I'm a memory. Great job guys!

We have been with Alaska USA Federal Credit Union since the Air
Force transferred us to Alaska in 1988. We have never seriously considered changing since Alaska USA has always provided good and trustworthy service. I would never consider joining a bank over AK USA!
